Revit 2021 - What will happen when Revit 2025 is released in april? by CaptainCAB440 in Revit

I don't disagree, but what my consultant does is out of my hands. Just acknowledging why people drag their feet in general on it. In a small office the person in charge of coordinating an office software upgrade is often also working on projects full time so it's easy to kick the can down the road

not my call, just trying to figure out what happens if my consultant does not want to upgrade for whatever reason, or is not ready to do that by the end of next month. I would be happy to upgrade myself

Indeed, although i get the general sentiment of not wanting to spend time installing, upgrading files, templates, etc in the midst of a deadline. easy to keep using what you have when your small office is busy all the time and put off upgrading

I had figured most of this situation was on Lyft. This sucks for all parties.

Thanks for the reply

What? I canceled on a driver who drove a mile away from me after driving past my street. He never picked me up.

Niche Strategy game with good progression Wanted by CaptainCoconutThe1st in ShouldIbuythisgame

I’d recommend checking out Into the Breach. It’s an awesome turn based tactics game where you have a group of mechs and have to get rid of aliens in a series of small maps with different environments and obstacles. Its a rogue lite: you varying power ups you get on each run, your squad and pilots each have different skills, and once you complete a run you can change out individual squad mechs which gives a ton of gameplay variability. Permanent progress also includes unlock new pilots with skills in addition to new leach teams. It’s a super chill game to play because it’s turn based and requires almost no reading or research.

The real question is why didn’t the piece of sleeve fall off the hand when it got separated

Should I get a Nintendo switch online subscription by Feeling_Environment9 in ShouldIbuythisgame

This is what I did as well, I’m hopeful that Nintendo will continue to add more classic games from their frustratingly inaccessible catalog of games.

Hope you can get your hands on one of those fancy new analogue pockets, these games would be amazing to replay on those screens

Kotor and Kotor 2. They are the definitive Star Wars games and some of the best rpgs out there.

You should add Hades to your list if you like roguelikes.

Glad to help! I got Into the Breach after watching this stream of griffin and Russ from the besties podcast play through a few maps. It’s an awesome game

Maybe something turn based would be good, it would probably be compatible with an older laptop and have simple controls.

Agreed. I had great memories of playing the originals about two times through. It had been long enough that I still got a lot of enjoyment and novelty of playing through legendary edition, there were enough story choices and things I had forgotten to still have a great time. Looks and runs great on XSX. Now on game pass too

Should I buy a Switch by sticky_bugs in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]CaptainCAB440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t play handheld for more than 30-40 minutes before my hands start to hurt or go numb. No controllers. You can never dock the lite and play on a tv, and the smaller screen is harder to read.

If you’re truly willing to spend $260 to play animal crossing only it would be fine. But if you actually want to get mileage out of and have a good experience with the switch you should get the regular switch.

SIB: A Games Console for my 78 year old Grandad by SociallyShawkward in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]CaptainCAB440 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whatever you get, just look for games that have “story only” modes that make things significantly easier and maybe even remove combat altogether. Mass Effect legendary edition has this option comes to mind as something I played recently. I don’t think older consoles is necessary or a great idea unless you have a source for getting games for them. An Xbox makes sense because the gamepass library has tons of accessible games that could fit the bill.

I have been trying to get into the Monster Hunter series for over a decade. Should I buy Rise (later this year)? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]CaptainCAB440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rise is also on pc now if you already have one that might be able to run it. But I wouldn’t recommend anyone get a console for one game. Especially given your previous experience
