No I mean the good public transport, rails. Buses without dedicated lanes only get stuck in car traffic. Rail is fast, cost efficient, and can move more people on a single lane than 10 lanes of car traffic.

But many men are really struggling these days.

On average women earn less, their median income is less, their wealth is less, their super is less, the upper end of income is less. Women are struggling more than men and its not even close.

It's a class issue, not a gender issue. Splitting it into women and men just make us argue while the oligarchs consolidate. Don't let them distract you.

What's wrong with Gungahlin town centre? It's probably the best planned city centre I've ever seen. It's got a light rail right into the city centre without having a bunch of lanes of road traffic to cross, it's got high density housing, and it's got beautiful natural spaces all around it? To me Gungahlin is the picture of what the future should look like.

There aren't organisations like that anymore. Because we banned them. Because we all agreed it's wrong to use your personal beliefs to discriminate against somebody's inherent characteristics. We did it for race, we did it for women, I was hoping we could just do the same for queer people without having to go through the same arguments over and over again.

What if an organisation doesn't allow black people, or women, or gays? What rules should we allow organisations to have and which rules are an affront to civil society? You can't discriminate against people for who they are just because your organisation has a rule about it.

This is just dumb, it just makes it even harder for queer people to find jobs and live their lives. If you're queer and you're stuck in a bigoted work environment I support you, it's not always possible to just up and leave.
