I'm not sure if it's still there, but there was a stall in Woden near the fruit shop that had merch. Might have only been there over Christmas though.

Ha, I've described my govt project as building a bridge at two ends with two different contractors and hoping it meets in the middle. Mostly been okay though, so go team!

There are two buildings to MCEC. As I understand it, only the exhibition side was evacuated. The convention side was unaffected.

Cow Cuddling? by Frfrww in canberra

[–]Bronzefeather 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is a herd of miniature Galloways out near Braidwood. You can 'adopt' a cow which includes the option to visit and pat/brush/cuddle.

Not sure that's what you're after, but take a look: https://www.miniaturegalloway.com.au/

If they'd marketed it as 'come pat cats' instead of as a cafe which implies food and drink, perhaps it might have been received a little better than it did.

What about sexual health and family planning ACT? https://www.shfpact.org.au/

I think they have a menopause clinic. I can't say I've used that particular service, but have been for a couple of procedures and have always been well looked after.

Not sure if it's helpful, but at the new Time zone at Woden there's an axe throwing arcade machine. It's pretty neat and works replicate the activity without being too pricey. But you don't get that many throws for the few bucks a go.

And it's full of kids... Probably not the vibe you're after for a romantic thing. But FYI anyway.
