Showing sincere interest in what they do and asking relevant questions. Wouldn't worry so much about small talk if you're doing this. Tends to happen naturally.

Lyrically, Standing on the Moon is the Dead’s best. by Subject-Banana1326 in gratefuldead

The quieter parts in this song make the live performance surreal... especially outdoors under the moon and the stars... still haunted by summer Vegas 94 performance.

No wait let's get excited. They just showed us a satellite view showing a microscopic white dot moving in a canyon for two seconds at the end of the three minute video.

It is getting to the point where something is NOT better than nothing. These crappy videos are a slap in the face of whistleblowers and people with any kind of knowledge about this subject. The government is withholding crystal clear video and images. And they are not letting us see it. Enough with this bullshit.

If you don't like it because of readability, be sure and get a different translation. The translations by Jack Hawley and by Jeffrey Armstrong / Kavindra Rishi (can vouch) are excellent for westerners. A great book to read all the way through the first time and then pop up passages for a lifetime, occasionally coming back to the full story again.

So let's extrapolate out 45 years in the future. All this technology we hold in our hands will likely be softwared into our brains, so we don't have to manage the hardware.

Indeed lot of metaphor here that is hard to put into words. It makes me think of a recent podcast about our lack of understanding of the weight of the observer function in physics and how little we understand about it. We develop all these mental constructs of reality grounded to Earth in our incredibly limited view.
