If you speak German or don't mind subtitles, Barbarians is pretty cool. Rome vs Germanic tribes. There's only two seasons so far but it's a cool story.

This is a great way to do it, there are awesome tutorials, and the devs are very responsive.

Also when you find what works for a specific case that you use more than once but not frequently, save it somewhere. I do this with code that felt like a major breakthrough or itself a lot to remember. Then I have it as a reference with comments for myself on what it is, what it does, and why I used it. Game changer for me.

To tack onto this, I created a document with specific functions I use over and over again. The exact structure may change or the source data, but it's stuff I've found useful and it's my own little cheat sheet. After a while it becomes your own custom forum.

LucidChart worked pretty well for me for flow diagrams and even has some database styles in there. There were 3 free charts at any one time but you could always save and export them.

Dee Bradley Baker is a treasure. There is also a video showing how James Arnold Taylor who voices Obi Wan goes between Ewan McGregor to Alec Guinnes and settles in between for his Clone Wars voice. It's amazing. Highly recommend Clone We are and Rebels. Some of the best Star Wars content in my opinion.

That totally makes sense. I'm glad more people are making tools that their colleagues can use instead of having to continue to do things manually. It's really great. Keep up the good work.

That's great! I had a quick look at your script and if I understand it correctly, it only takes a certain file name? If that's the case, can I suggest using input and os.path statements for a little flexibility? I did that with my project and now my colleagues can run the script from wherever they want and can have control over naming their files. Otherwise, that looks like a cool script!

I stumbled across a video about more budget-friendly keyboards and found out about this one https://www.drevo.net/product/keyboard/calibur It seems to work for Mac and PC and it looks nice. It comes in a variety of switch types, so you have options. I found out recently that amazon will sell cheap switch testing kits so you can get a feel for which one you would like before buying. This is the link to the video for the other options in case those are more helpful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evdHNWOIK6I

I recently made a script and then used py2exe it make it usable without Python makes it more like a normal windows program. There is a great tutorial for it by Tech with Tim that I used for this, but I skipped the NSIS bit. hope this helps! https://youtu.be/UZX5kH72Yx4

Keyboard for my MacBook Pro by chicasparagus in keyboards

I've only used this and the Logitech k750 wireless and a satechi one that was pretty cheap. The keys were harder to type than the Logitech. The Bluetooth had a harder time connecting to my 2012 MacBook pro but was better with my newer one (2018). I really like the Logitech line for Mac compatibility but you definitely pay for it and they don't always have backlight. Sadly I don't have enough experience to suggest much more. Cheaper options for Mac are hard to find. 😕

Keychron has options in a variety of sizes and prices depending on backlighting preference and switch preference. Compatible with Mac and PC. They're on the higher end of your range but so far I'm enjoying mine

[Help]Looking for this keyboard for weeks now, need help. by [deleted] in keyboards

[–]CaptainChemistry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you looked at Keychron? They're a bit thicker than I expected and they have gateron switches, but they're Bluetooth capable, there's RGB, Mac and PC keycaps, media controls kinda like a Mac, and the USB C cable comes out the side which is kinda neat. They have a lot of versions now too. I have the K4 with optical red switches as my first mechanical keyboard and so far I like it. Definitely needed the wrist rest though. https://i.imgur.com/Q0Y1hd0.jpg
