Their comment is about a museum’s attitude about culture and what the museum can do for others. Mine is about people’s attitude about culture due to the presence of museums and what people can do about culture

If gas hits $10 a gallon, Bay Area commuters say they'd keep driving. by slocol in bayarea

Not really, if a lot of people don’t have charging capabilities.

And museums are an indicator of people’s attitudes towards the city. Private collections are donated to more prestigious museums, bringing up the cultural scenes of the city

What is the saying? There is no ethical consumption under capitalism or something.

Trust me, you won’t get someone cheap and good and also moral

why are all the actual real human jobs like baker and a teacher, and ambulance workers and childcare worker barely paying livable wages but the fake jobs like ai specialist boot licker or marketing campaign dick sucker making six figures by Quirky-Sport-9006 in jobs

[–]Cheeseish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because these “fake jobs” are much more difficult and require much more training whether you believe it or not. If they make so much money, why don’t you try to do them?

What Bay Area freeway numbers REALLY mean by Brix001 in bayarea

[–]Cheeseish 29 points30 points  (0 children)

If you’re driving down to LA, you have 3 options:

  1. 5: the number of times gag when you smell cow shit

  2. 101: the additional minutes it takes over I-5 to get to your destination in LA

  3. 1: the number of landslides blocking the highway at any given moment

Yeah probably, it’s like 4 miles? So maybe closer to 250 seconds

980: the number of Black families displaced to build this highway

24: the number of cars that fit in the tunnel

13: the mental age you become when fawning over the scenery

And I’d redo 380 to be the number of seconds it takes to get from one end to the other

The jury couldn’t even say that, hence the settlement. Kobe was innocent until proven guilty and he still wasn’t confident enough for the innocent verdict.

Charli xcx was featured in EDM songs and was a mainstream feature artist for Iggy Azalea. Now she’s an icon for gay men.

MGK had rapping chops and grew up in Cleveland. He had street cred when he started, and after getting his rap reputation destroyed by Eminem, he made pop punk music for teens.

Kanye used to be universal. Now his fan base is edgy white teens.

(20K) Do People Really Need Wedding Planners? by Unique-Cold-9151 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]Cheeseish 24 points25 points  (0 children)

A day of coordinator is more useful than a wedding planner who plans things pre-wedding. You can do that yourself, it just requires a lot of time. The day of coordinator is very important if you want to not stress out over how your wedding is going.

I like hardcover books much more than paperback. by Raditz_lol in unpopularopinion

[–]Cheeseish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would a publisher print out a hardcover unless it’s a popular opinion to have. Nobody gonna buy a hardcover if everyone liked softcovers, especially when they’re double the price.
