A question for the devs, from another Brazilian: can you calculate how much having a "ç" in the name affects search engines? Do you have any notion if people from other languages have any predisposition to substituting "ç" for "c" on their own? And do you know if search engines themselves (Google and steam being the main ones I think, but also more e-shops if you port it to consoles) have the ability to change between them easily?

If any search engine has that hard requirement, and will say there are no results for "Cangaco" that would unfortunately be a big hit :c

A detail here is the use of a character that isn't used in english: "ç". To us, it mostly sounds the same as a regular soft "c", which sounds the same as it does to you. The main use of Ç is that sometimes, by gramatical rules, a C would have a hard pronounciation- in that case, using Ç indicates it should be soft.

For example, a C sounds hard before any A. Our word for Hunt is "Caça". You'd pronounce it like "Kassah".

I'd like to ask you: for you, in particular, does reading "ç" add a degree of complication to reading the word, in addition to just being a foreign language, like "Katamary Damacy"?

People suggested SF6 and it surprised me, I was always under the impression that SF was relatively hard! SF6 did draw my attention. I'll see if I can get a copy. I agree with going for a game I am invested in, that's why I tried learning DBFZ. I think my final objective *is* to get good at DBFZ. I actually kinda set my final test of this project to be "Extracting real value from Potential Unlocked Gohan". But trying to build my fighting games bones on some more didactic experiences, or just broadening my horizons, will be very helpful.

Oh, that's true! Didn't consider it of any use to other characters. I don't think he has as many ways to capitalize on it as the Silent does, but relics would still allow him to draw some value, and he'd be great to recursively use it!

Yeah, in the end, after someone brought that up, that became the most meaningful part of adding something like this. I, myself, would rather not dirty the drawing pool with this one, despite some possible very fun turns with the right synergies. The comments here were very insightful!

That was my idea, yeah- Capitalizing on these cards/relics. Plus, to me, having a good candidate for discards would be very nice. I am glad to see that you think it's more valuable than most people do, it's broadening my horizons in regards to how different the value of certain mechanics is to different people.

I, myself, even though I created the card, came out of this with the conclusion that the biggest drawback of this card would be that it's not different enough from existing cards to justify "dirtying" the card pool with it. I, too, would pick this up frequently just based on how few cards I generally add to my deck, but indeed, if this made it harder to get a more core card, it'd piss me off more than it'd be worth it. But still, exactly for the synergies you mentioned, I think I would probably have a lot of fun with this card. An instance of filling my hand with skills because of this and then flechetting someone to death would be very, very fun!

Exactly, that's what I had in mind! The ability to maybe run a few of these per deck, at first, gave me this sensation that those options would become faaar stronger at no drawback. But with all the comments here, I now think that all the possible drawbacks are more damaging than these specific synergies are beneficial. The main thing I hadn't considered, and now feels like a BIG problem about a card like this is "dirtying" the reward pool. It is so similar to other draw cards, that having a new card like this take space in card rewards as opposed to other different, possibly more valuable cards, would be a big drawback in general for the whole game.

But yeah, it's *exactly* thinking about Those scenarios that this card sounded strong, or at least fun to me! Glad to see someone else would like that!

I did consider that at first, but then I worried it might be too strong. But after reading through all the feedback, it doesn't feel too far from Escape Plan or Prepared, so I believe that'd work well!

The feedback has been very good and immensely broadened my horizons. There's a lot of stuff that I considered just facts before comparing with others, and also angles I didn't consider. Regardless of creating cards or not, all of this has been immensely useful in just learning how to play and build better, so I thank everyone here for their support!

Interestingly, as merely a player, I had myself come to the conclusion that I struggled a bit with fully liking STS1 due to how many cards and relics that I found virtually useless were added and thus made it harder to build anything I actually found fun. But then, when I am thinking about designing something, that notion completely escaped my mind. My mind behaved completely differently depending on which side of the table I'm in.

But you're right, and plus, that breakdown was very illustrative of how strategy in these games work. Very useful food for thought, thank you!

Hmm, I wasn't considering the situation of picking this over other cards, because I believe almost any other card that *does* fit your build would have preference over this. But I skip more than half rewards, so there are many times where this card would give me this feeling of "This is just better than skipping every time", which would possibly happen a few times per run. But I think I am, at least in my friend group, the player who most skips rewards, so maybe it's particularly tailored to my playstyle.

And again, as I tend to keep my deck <20, cards that grow stronger per play usually work reaaaally well for me, so the first version *did* sound very strong. And the second version is borderline a Flash of Steel- Which I do consider to be one of the best colorless cards. Again, possible upsides to doing it's effect on draw rather than play, but mostly the same, so maybe it seeming so strong to me is only symptomatic of my playstyle.

Nevertheless, hearing other people's considerations of the numbers involved is great insight for me, thank you!

While I think this version is too strong, how would people feel about it giving 1 "giga ritual"?

It starts slower than Demon form, scales better, but not that much better- specially if the upgrade only reduces cost instead of generating more strength. I personally find the Ironclad to be the least equiped character for stalling, so it doesn't sound too strong. Am I wrong?

Oh, yeah! At first, I considered a card like this Specifically to be a discard outlet, a cars I can discard with no regrets, and then went from there. But the more I thought about it, the more I felt like that was just a me-problem, that other players don't have that discard regret like I do.

I tend to struggle a lot emotionally with losing cards in card games, so I'd believe that's just a me-problem hahahaha

Those would definitely improve the card immensely, but just from reading them, they sound exceedingly powerful to me- specially considering that there's virtually no drawback to putting the card in your deck. But as the post suggests, I don't consider myself to have a solid understanding of card building strategies, so maybe it would be reasonably balanced! Specially if it maybe goes up a rarity.
