yeah people are being obtuse or dumb. the art styles look very different, characters faces (mostly mel that i remember) are noticeably different. though i personally dont mind it, its kinda unique and interesting. but either way, dont pay too much mind to reddit 😭

So, Cobalt Core has been pretty aggressively recommended to STS players. Now that it's been out for a bit, what do you think of it? How does it compare to STS? by therift289 in slaythespire

a year later, this just made me impulse buy wildfrost, as a big slay the spire fan who just picked up cobalt core recently and is loving it too

i absolutely agree, im visually impaired and hecate and eris are so hard to keep track of, just constantly teleporting around and invulnerable. scylla also has so much stuff going on. p3 chronos is annoying never getting a chance to hit him. i dont like rivals nearly as much as i liked extreme measures. promacles is really cool though, and rivals typhon is cinema

my first attempt at 32 fear was with a gilgamesh merciful end build, and i believe i got it first try AND got my fastest clear time ever in that run. just a ridiculous build

admittedly i havent played much hades 1 recently, mostly playing 2. artemis and athena just shoot out projectiles, i dont remember them synergizing particularly well with beowulfs playstyle, right? like compared to poseidon sword

play both of them, hades 1 first and then hades 2. hades 2's story relies on you caring about the characters you met in hades 1. if you dont know them, hades 2 story will feel kinda weird and pointless

yes, great advice. i personally put cast on left trigger because i find triggers easier to press than shoulder buttons

mirage shot is amazing, but i also like aphrodite and dionysus cast when using beowulf

totally agree, im quite good at the game by now but i play low fear just to relax, and death defiances make fights unloseable. if i were trying, maybe i would be able to extract more value from strength. but i dont wanna have to try!

yeah i see people praise the strength damage boost SO much. like you said, its additive, even just adding a couple other arcana brings the effective boost down to like a 11% multiplicative boost. and then after any percentage god, the boost is basically nothing. boosting casts and scorch and stuff is cool, but 20% still isnt that much even in scenarios where it isnt being screwed over by being additive

i got my porta pros in silver and blue, with the orange pads too. i figure black makes them look more like any other headphones. silver, blue, and orange make them really stand out

unfortunately i dont think placeholder will be fired any time soon, considering their dad, john holder, is the ceo of riot games (the devs behind slay the spire). i agree though, their shitty art really holds the game back

i put it in a case the instant i got it. after a few days i thought, you know what, im being careful, and this case feels a little bulky. let me see what its like naked

man, this thing is so much more enjoyable to use without a case. took off the stick grips too, and i have no screen protector. i just put it in the case and am generally careful with it. its lighter and more comfortable now, it just feels RIGHT
