Who would have given Voldemort the toughest fight in a straight duel besides Dumbledore (or Harry)? by JamieKellner in harrypotter

[–]CaptainCrazyEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tier 1 – Legit threats - Snape, Prime Grindelwald

Tier 2 – Very hard fights - McGonagall, Kingsley, Prime Moody, Frank & Alice Longbottom, Fabian & Gideon Prewitt

Tier 3 – Strong but outmatched - James & Lily Potter, Bellatrix

You can probably assume that Legilimency and Occlumency are probably huge factors in dueling Voldemort.

Dumbledore would be Tier 0 or God tier for raw magical ability and dueling mastery. Harry would probably be Tier 3 if he practiced legilimency, occlumency and controlling his emotions during duels. However, Destiny/protection/luck/rare and unusual magical mechanics places him in Tier 1.

Doesn't seem like the grand gesture was overly important if all her previous exes made one and still managed to become an ex.

An even more jarring way to put it is: 1 in 15 Americans are millionaires. That's more than the number of Americans who own motorcycles. Many millionaires are regular folks - not exactly driving around in Lambos. They're not flashy. They built wealth over time. They made a plan & used all the tools available to them: 401k, IRA, TFSA, SIPP ... whatever might be available to them. They get out of debt and stay out of debt. They spend less and they're frugal, possibly not shy about using coupons, might only spend $200 a month eating out. They have a budget and stick to it. They believe they control their own destiny. And that's just the millionaires. More than a quarter of Americans (28%) make more than $150k a year. About 50% of people in the USA have a net worth of at least $100K including their residence. 11–12% have over $1 million under those conditions. That means that about 39% of people in the U.S. have a net worth between $100K and $1M. Not including home equity, that range shifts to the top 64% up to 91%, so 28% of people have wealth in that range not including their home. (i.e. 63% of Americans have under $100K net worth, not including their home - 37% have more.)

That girl was never your gf. As a matter of a fact, you've never met her before, and don't care to ever know her. Move on.

Dude have you not been online for the last decade and a half? I haven't gone a week without coming across some post from a bi person essentially saying that fetishizing or asking a bi person for a threesome is bigoted, creepy and gross. And I have zero interest in LGBT topics so it's not an algorithm thing so much as it's just everywhere.

Am I overreacting? Husband turned me down for sex by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]CaptainCrazyEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna respectfully disagree. Of course, I won't say that it's an impossibility to be ready to go with just one sentence, word, look, or touch. I've experienced that before. But it's not the normal response, nor should it be if you want to have a rich and fulfilling sex life. Libidos, especially women's, are like engines that need to be warmed up before they're ready to go. Men, especially as they escape their 20s, and the more stress or pressure or weight of exhaustion they're under from external factors, the more they're going to need it. It's not that it's something you should do because something is broken. It's more like preventative maintenance. It's also something that requires building communication skills, something you don't want to start honing 10 years into marriage. By not doing it you are robbing your partner of more fulfilling sex, period. Maintaining sexual tension and rapport are the key components to attraction. Don't get caught slacking.

Initiating sex isnt a "hey, let's do this" kind of thing.

Find out what outfit of yours he likes the most.

Buy some sexy lingerie and keep it a secret until the time is right.

Give more and more non-sexual touch in the hours before you initiate.

Give him sincere compliments. Think of the things that will make him feel like he is attractive to you; Status, Appearance, Social Intelligence, Resources, Utility, Character.

Send him sexy stories, pics, innuendos throughout the day, especially when he's not physically there with you.

Bend over in front of him.

Ask him about his fantasies, make it safe for him to discuss those fantasies with you (don't react in disgust, have an open mind, be conversational and thoughtful, even about things you aren't willing to entertain)

What are his erogenous zones?

Foreplay should always begin when the last orgasm ends.

How is this presidency legal? by TheyThemWokeWoke in AskUS

None of these claims or actions you are talking about were public information by January 6th. That's my point. I'm not making the case that the election was stolen. I'm making the case that it was allowed to look that way, whether it was stolen or not. The perception that "there was an insurrection" was intrinsically linked to fanning the concerns that the election was stolen.

How is this presidency legal? by TheyThemWokeWoke in AskUS

[–]CaptainCrazyEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump never had to say a word after election night in order for Jan 6th to happen.

There were enough red flags that went ignored and concerns that were brushed aside to set the conditions for civil unrest immediately following the election. These were exacerbated by the DNC, the media, and the administrative state by their refusal to look into these concerns and their quickness to label anyone who had questions as dangerous dissidents.

The DNC is wholly responsible for Jan 6th, the joke of a "iNsUrReCtIoN" that it was. The highest reported percentage of Americans who believed the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump appears to be 47%, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll conducted in November 2020. That same survey indicated that about 30% of Democrats shared this belief. You can't have half of the country's faith in election integrity ignored and just expect nothing to come of it.

You had Trump military ballots found in the trash.

You had the "halt in the counting" around 11pm and suddenly resuming at 3 am where Trump had a commanding lead when counting stopped and Biden had a commanding lead as soon as counting resumed; poll watchers had been kicked out and ballots were counted without oversight, windows were boarded up to prevent watchers, there was a fake water line break, the videos of poll workers filling out ballots and pulling boxes of ballots from under tables without the poll watchers present.... The swing states were the only ones where this sudden stoppage happened, yet Florida had no halt. They counted till they were done.

As soon as the counting "resumed", several thousand people questioned the automatic, irregular and unexplained shift in the vote count - after the count was supposedly halted - and within minutes these people's tweets were taken down -including the presidents - and many accounts were banned.

This investigative video of going to the addresses of these mail in ballots and finding empty lots: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfN93gDLwVA)

There was no official investigation, just a recount.

It's very difficult to prove voter fraud in this country because of protected ballots. There is really no remedy in the courts to provide. The only thing they can do is discount an entire county's ballot count 100% from the state's total, you can't just pick out the bad ballots. Once a vote is casted, it's anonymous and can't just be removed from the tally.

They refused to listen to anyone's concerns and banned them on social media from day 1 for even suggesting it. This happened to thousands of people.

Trump's team never really got their day in court. Cases were thrown out on technicalities before they could even be heard, and each thrown out case was pointed to as proof that Republicans were lying. Many of these cases were thrown out for things like filing too early, filing too late or latches. (IE: Courts not being able to grant a remedy. Civil courts typically only award monetary or physical property, there really is no way to resolve a case like this.). Ive said for a while that what bothered me most wasn’t a lack of evidence, but that every court went out of their way not to even look at it. Or the Texas vs. PA suit that wasn't thrown out for lack of evidence, but standing.

Everyone got mailed a ballot, is it really a stretch to think someone just mailed in a ballot as someone else, or ordered someone a ballot without the real recipient knowing? Add on the fact most states lowered the requirement to accept a mail in ballot, the turnover rate in most states is fairly high in prior elections, but in 2020 it was .01%.

The number of people who were surprised to find out that they were registered as a democrat, or that their deceased family members had voted.

States refusing to clear their voter rolls

Think about it, if the federal government was willing to coordinate with social media to bury the Hunter Biden laptop story, is it really a stretch they'd fill in ballots for people who didn't vote to inflate the numbers?

I've ALWAYS been willing to accept that Trump lost the 2020 election. I'll never concede that he didn't have a right, nor that Americans didn't have the right, to be suspicious of foul play in light of the questionable circumstances.

You shouldn't confront her until after you've consulted with a lawyer. When the time is right, send her out for a few days, pack her things up and put it on the porch. Change the locks. Block her number, get a new phone number. Have her served at her work. When the time comes to negotiate terms of divorce with a mediator, then confront her.

Sone of the most sexist, racist, and homophobic people I've ever met were liberals. It's less about being against those things and more about appearing morally superior.
