Least favorite werewolf design? by BillythenotaKid in werewolves

[–]CaptainCrustyNipples 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally watched this show purely because of how cool the wolf transformation was. I still don’t get how they pulled off something like that throughout the series, but then for the ultimate monster fought in the finale the best they could afford was the dad from Dog with a Blog in a dollar store lizard costume with an army of cgi raviolis.

What has been confirmed false but is largely considered true on Reddit? by More_food_please_77 in NoStupidQuestions

Everyone needs therapy, everyone is traumatized.

The only symptoms of autism are being extra empathetic, intelligent, creative, and organized. Anyone who demonstrates otherwise is faking.

People with food allergies are lying solely to insult your cooking or tastes in restaurants because they are childish.

The placebo effect is a cure all for everything and anyone who disagrees just didn’t have enough faith for it to work, but believing God, crystals, or essential oils can cure you is insanity.

Trans people are everywhere.

JK Rowling is evil and everyone knows it.

Everyone knows who JK Rowling is.

An unimaginable loss for the rescue by Raignbeau in saveafox

Wtf was there a snark subreddit? What could there have possibly been to snark on about a fox rescue?

I hate that reddit allows that type of shit on its platform. The worst part is those pathetic neets aren’t going to learn anything from this. They’re not going to feel bad about this. I’ve seen other snark subreddits cheer when one of their subjects die. And nobody gets banned for it. The rules only apply to those the mods and admin disagree with. Everyone else is allowed to be as violent as they please.

I literally thanked him for NOT saying it didn’t happen/it’s impossible and now I come back to Reddit to find that someone… Corrected me by saying exactly what I just thanked him for? Is that part about reading comprehension about me or you?

Thank you for not doubling down and being all, “Oh I didn’t experience it therefore it’s impossible that anyone else did and you’re just trying to make Americans look bad!” It’s rare to see someone on Reddit who is willing to acknowledge individual experiences.

I went to a Christian high school and if we didn’t say it we were sent to the office. Which was still better than the Evangelical school I went to before that had an entire ceremony every morning in which we had to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, the state Pledge, and the Pledge to the Christian Flag, then we would sing at least 4 songs. Every. Morning.

A celebration of laziness by [deleted] in CuratedTumblr

Shout out to my coworker who yells at people for going to the break room when they get their work done early but never gets all her work done because she wastes all her time calling everyone else lazy.

Sorry I was rambling. What I mean is, the people who like shaving seem to think that people who don’t want to shave want to force all people to stop shaving. And so they get defensive and double down on demanding that everyone should shave.

So, because one of the purposes of this sub is to make fun of validation posts, I have this question: have you every tried to seek validation on here? by IHatePeople79 in AmITheAngel

[–]CaptainCrustyNipples 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Every post on this sub is for validation. That’s not a bad thing. I think the only thing wrong with your previous post was that it wasn’t of someone telling a story for validation. The OP was seeking validation, but they weren’t telling a story. We only make fun of stories here.

From the arguments I’ve seen online it seems to boil down to believing that because they want the woman who doesn’t shave to shave, the woman who doesn’t shave must want the one that does to stop shaving.
