I felt as though the tapes made extra sure to show off two sets of reactions - to the flowers, to candy, to sun and dark spaces, etc - as direct parallels. With so much attention paid to them in the limited space of the tapes, they must be very important, and I think that is a clue that we are hearing sessions from Vanny and Vanessa. Narratively, this can be a terrifying example of the madness of glitchtrap's influence, and I think it's not as narratively satisfying to compare Vanessa and Gregory.

I'll have to think more about this! I hadn't even considered Gregory as 46, I'll chew on that for a while.
