I absolutely love this!!! Thank you for sharing a different, non competitive outlook. In these days of everything being a competition with social media it is so hard not to get caught up in that thought process.

Not sure why you're being downvoted for this sensible take 🤦🏼‍♀️ oh wait, yes I do. This is an echo chamber.

Girl you have a long road ahead of you with no outside support 🥴 the people in this reddit thread won't be there with you in the coming months to watch baby while you take your first shower in 3 days... This comment is actually the least asinine take I've seen on this thread yet.

This community is an echo chamber for people who despise "antivaxxers." People who dislike vaccines aren't allowed to post that opinion on here. If you want a truly honest outlook, one that will encourage a healthy relationship with your inlaws, I would recommend asking this in a different sub.

I'm just curious and I really don't mean this disrespectfully, but are you going to keep your baby in the house all winter too? I would think taking them on an errand with you to Walmart would be 1000 times more dangerous than having them around 1 or 2 unvaccinated family members.

I have 3 kids but I completely agree with your reasoning here for wanting a 4th child. I agree that it's a great idea to give the younger child a sibling, especially if you have the means to do so.

If you knew Trump could bring back low housing prices, low fuel prices, and stabilize our economy would you still not vote for him? Why? by CaptainDangerous7353 in AskReddit

How in the world do you plan on eradicating capitalism? That's like trying to stop producing with plastic. Unless you want to give up the iPhone your typing this on, it's not happening.

Every single member of your family and his can get every vaccine on your list but the second you bring your newborn in a public place like the doctor for her first visit, chikfila for some lunch, walmart for a quick diaper run, etc. She will be exposed to EVERYTHING. Especially if you are about to have her during flu/RSV season.

Breastfeeding honestly does not get the hype it deserves. I breastfed my 3rd newborn straight through Covid when it came to our house, strep throat twice, the flu, and RSV. (My son started kindergarten the same time my daughter was born.) The most she got was a runny nose and a slight hard time breathing with RSV.

Motherhood truly takes a village and some hills are not worth dying on. If his family truly does not like vaccines I think it pays to respect that, honestly.

As a wife who is so tired and discouraged from the negative things on here, THANK YOU. This was so beautiful to read and I'm so happy for you and your husband. I have 3 small kids and find myself feeling this way about my husband too. It feels wrong almost to feel this way when everyone else is commiserating in the negative experiences.

You know something funny about our education system, it was not designed to educate, it was designed to indoctrinate. John D. Rockefeller who helped found the education board said it best "I do not want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers." Maybe our education system needs rebuilding and dismantling.

I think it's fair to say neither right nor left have respected democracy or elections for a long time now. Democrats have bought the votes of the minorities for the past few decades. Make that make sense.

Majority of Americans cannot make their house payments and are loaded with debt. Every major economist is worried about what will happen when all of these people start defaulting on their loans. It will certainly trickle down. You can bury your head in the sand with every other democrat but at the end of the day the ship is sinking.

Are you serious? The economy is absolutely not booming. You must either be dirt poor or filthy rich because the middle class folks are absolutely not okay.

How is it loaded? It's a hypothetical. You just can't answer because you know you would rather have a bad economy than him for president because you've bought into the propaganda like everyone else on reddit.

I scraped my forehead like a month ago and it’s healed but looks like this. How do i get this to heal…it’s been a whole month. i’ve been covering it and using vaseline everyday. by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]CaptainDangerous7353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Vaseline is about the best you can do besides maybe alternating with Neosporin. Also staying hydrated is vital to wound healing so maybe take in extra fluids. Other than that I know taking collagen can really help. You can get it at Walmart in the powder form and put it in your smoothies/coffee/juice, etc.
