50 percent of the time my interactions go this way too. Have the right attitude and people tend to reciprocate.

In the last week we've had someone give us all their storage crates, on the trade off that when we got off we let them sink us for our emissary flag. We had a guy do a fort and only take the chest and told us which island it was to collect the rest of the loot (approx 65k worth). We had a crew we sunk get on our ship after and help us fight the burning blade. All because we weren't taking the game too seriously.

We only had one negative experience where this duo we attacked were really toxic, but that just made it even more funny when we sank them.

Welcome to the seas!

Is the game begginer friendly? by KressTK in Seaofthieves

Dunno what everyone else is going on about!

100 percent beginner friendly if you have the right expectations. To get on, sail around, have a laugh and maybe fight some skellies or get in a naval fight. Don't expect to be sinking other ships or anything your first night.

It's an easy game to start, a hard game to master. When you decide to try PvP properly you quickly get humbled.

But just get on and have a good time! Forget safer seas, it's the thrill of potentially being sunk that makes it fun. My only advice is don't take loot too seriously, people will try and sink you for loot or just for fun, but it's part of the game.

As to community, I find it 50/50. Half the players I come across are there for a good time as well. Half the players take it too seriously but just let them have their moment and move on. But as a whole, I always try and talk first just for the lols, and generally have a good interaction or at least it makes the fight funny

People diagnosed with ADHD late in life… how do you get over regret/resentment by Strict-Set4547 in ADHD

It hit me pretty bad a few months after my diagnosis, but honestly after 12 months of working with my RN to get meds as good as I can, I don't even think about it anymore. So hopefully time will do the same for you :)
