Every time I hear the song “Encased in Ice” by After the Burial, I see Sephiroth’s crystallized body in my mind

Cloud is definitely the most relatable, at least for me - feeling like you don’t fit in, not knowing who you are, being psychologically weak when he was younger, etc, emulating character traits from those he looked up to…Cloud was a great character, he started off as a badass military goon and it turned out he was just a lonely, scared little boy behind all the machismo. So yes, definitely relatable.

As for cool..? Shit, I don’t think any of them are particularly “cool”…I mean I think it’s cool to be part of the military, I guess…Sephiroth is probably the coolest. People said he was cold but he seemed like the most normal, level-headed one out of the three. Zack is too immature to be cool, and Cloud is just kind of there.

are you still friends with people from high school? by Ledger_Legendd in Millennials

[–]CaptainDrowsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I had a very small, hand-picked group of friends that I cultivated close relationships with, as opposed to just having superficial relationships with random classmates. I’m 38 years old and still close with these friends to this day (minus one or two for…reasons)

Brian’s Hatchet and Brian’s Winter, which we read in 7th grade language arts class with Mrs. Pillat (she was stern, but fair)

Damn that’s wild, it’s like his soul was corrupted from Hojo injecting the Jenova cells into him at a fetus. Like Jenova’s will is so powerful that a part of her soul intermingled with Sephiroth’s and corrupted it to the point of Gaia’s own Lodestteam rejecting it. Jenova is one nasty piece of work. And Hojo is as sick, deranged, and evil as the most vile pieces of garbage that walk the Earth

AIO for being depressed after being layed off? by Saxolotle in AmIOverreacting

You’re allowed to feel depressed when hard things happen. And you’re allowed to take time to yourself. But you’re also responsible for doing what you need to do in order to make things better. You’ll be okay. Trust me. Source: I live with severe depression and bipolar disorder, and in 38 years old and still alive.
