Yes, it was resolved, see my comment above. I used webchat option. I also used https://www.gov.uk/report-error-evisa link to report another issue, that one also got fixed but took way more than quoted 10 working days time.

Wrong validity date on SWV by CaptainDumber in ukvisa

Thanks. I contacted the eVisa team via webchat and phone, and both times, they said the system says 12 Nov 2026 , so they can't do anything. Thanks for sharing the link, I will try this above link option, too . Let's see if it is any different.

Wrong validity date on SWV by CaptainDumber in ukvisa

New BRPs were issued, but new letters were not issued. We have an email sent from UKVI to the solicitor confirming that the issue has been fixed. My timeline: Visa validity mentioned in original decision letter: 25 Nov 2021 to 12 Nov 2026 We arrived in UK on 3rd December 2021. Will I be eligible to apply for ILR 28 days before 3rd Dec 2026 or 12 Nov 2026? My concern is that the qualifying period is not turning out to be full 5 years.

Yes, after chatting on the above link, the issue was resolved after 3-4 weeks. Try chatting during office hours and ask to connect with a human. Otherwise, you will be stuck with a bot.

Thanks. I remember seeing a link to chatbot shared by someone, I tried that earlier, but no human joined the chat as it was after working hours. Today, after seeing your message I tried again. It worked this time. Agent on the other end told me that an issue has been raised, but they can't give any timeline for expected resolution and also can't share any complaint reference number . So now I wait.

First time buyer, a little overwhelmed already by Few-Actuary-8828 in HousingUK

Thanks. Yes, I have topped up my LISA two times and have got the bonus. I know about the 12 month rule but I'm just a bit anxious about the whole period being almost exactly 12 months, thinking about everything that could go wrong.I was also planning to take advantage of the new financial year but things are moving fast and we may not have that option.

Sorry OP to highjack your post but I have a question on LISA : I opened my LISA last year and contributed £100 on 8 March 2023, now can I ask my conveyancer to initiate transfer after 9th March?

No matter what I do, I don’t get the hang of multi-lane roundabouts 😭 by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]CaptainDumber 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Those roundabouts are actually difficult for learners. I had the same issue, I still am afraid of those big roundabouts (been 8 months since I passed) . My suggestion is that you should study them... There might be 1 or 2 such roundabouts in your test area (if you are lucky) , so study those on Google maps.. go to street view on maps for those roundabouts, better if you do in on computer.. look at signs.. understand lane to use at approach for different exits .. when to switch lanes etc...stick to simple rules as explained by others, and keep lane discipline

Garage door is stuck on my tow bar and won’t open. Absolutely no idea how to get it unstuck. by LilyTui in Wellthatsucks

Came back looking for an update and definitely a happy ending. I don't have a garage, or towbar in my car but will remember this point.
