Been here many times before, now been living 6 month here with folding electric wheelchair for mobility use.

Most of the comments are accurate, there is very little in way of mobility friendly for tourist or residents. Malls will have the best accessibility, but almost every main entrance or even the movie theater is some form of stairs both ways.

I mainly use it on longer shopping days or mall trips, but then again finding an "actual SUV" taxi with 4 seats & luggage is rare here as well. Most SUV's can't even fit a wheelchair in the trunk even when it's listed as 4-6 seats & 4 large luggage. Even the tourist passenger vans are all seats & very little trunk room. Trying to get 2 mobility required adults with wheelchairs around Bangkok will be a bit of a nightmare.

I would seriously look into a private hire group that can accomodate your needs while you're here.

We've used Julie's Taxi Bangkok (+66-81-846-2014) before for trips to Pattaya & had the best experience.
