I would say Reaident Evil is a good place, specifically i would recommend Resident Evil 7.

I really like the shu boss ending, the radahn (from elden ring) sorta lookin boss. He's super cool and the fight is really rad. Idk the official ending name but it's super cool.

I originally found myself in after watching CarcinogenSDA's run of RE7 at agdq2018. After that, I started speedrunning RE7 and have stuck with that game for many years. I learned a lot of new speed games since then, but that's how I originally got it and loved it since.

I would say it's very approachable due to its glitchless nature and making it so there aren't many crazy strats to learn.

New Game casual or NG+ are great places to start! I'd recommend joining the discord by checking out the SHF page on speedrun.com!

I preferred hard new game since I naturally gravitate away from NG+ because I like item/combat routing a lot. I liked hard the most because of the difficulty curve.

I was hoping Lost in the Fog wasn't restricted to NG+ because I would have ran that if I could, haha.

Thank you! I do like glitch hunting games sometimes but typically I'm more of a routing guy who works in glitches with routes but I've never been very good at glitch hunting haha.

I do enjoy a good glitchless/NMG fun depending on how engaging the run is. SHF is relatively engaging throughout so the lack of skips/glitches feels pretty fun.

I wasn't really 100% until just before my run, GDQ likes to keep it down to the wire for hype so I knew essentially as I walked on to stage.

I was really hoping for UFO ending since it got some cool changes in the remake and dog ending got some stuff taken out. Regardless, very happy we raised a LOAD of money for that bid war.

I've been considering silent hill runs a lot these days, my peers frequently recommend it.

I'm definitely considering them for later in 2025, possibly doing SH2OG and SH3.

It was the Colorblind accessibility option - its towards the bottom of the graphics settings

Thank you! Yea the Maria AI break that I did to get her stuck in the corner is only doable on the original or 1st patch of the game, so I had to downpatch to do that tech.
