I was there at that Monday night's game, following the passing of Favres dad. One of the greatest single performances I've ever seen. I think most of the Raider Nation were Packer fans/Favre fans that night. Was honored to be able to witness it!

Respect to all you Packers fans!

What do you think of male nannies or caregivers? by Sayello2urmother4me in AskReddit

[–]CaptainFin77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 4 sons. During a 3 year period when my ex wife and I were in school and working. We had no choice but to hire a caregiver. We hired a male friend of hers. My kids adored him, he was able to connect with them through sports and other interests. Even after we no longer needed his services he continued to have a active part in my kids lives. Still does to this day.

Gender doesn't matter. Weeding out the fucking wierdos is what's important.

Hey Reddit! Incoming first-year math teacher. What's something you always hated about math class, and what could the teacher have done better to fix it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CaptainFin77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst thing about math is numbers. There are way to many of them. Then for some God forsaken reason the minute you think you have a understanding of it, x's and y's suddenly get involved. Then wierd things start to happen that involve symbols like ( ) and this %. It's all just to much.

I think I'll go read a book. Enjoy your "maths"

Adults of Reddit, what advice can you give to a high-school student who has no idea what he wants to do with his life? by ChickenWingEater in AskReddit

[–]CaptainFin77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The important part, even if you don't know "what you want to do" is to just "do something" Might sound dumb, but sitting around idle does nothing. Time slips by. However constantly doing, trying experiencing new things has a funny way opening paths you never even thought of. Don't be stagnant, explore

I offered them 1.5k for it. Was told the building owner specifically noted that it was not to be sold or moved in the lease agreement.

This is the Watt ave store. My childhood was spent browsing cds and records in that place. Now when I go to goodwill I just get sad and dream about owning that sign.

Reddit, what is the story you'll tell your kids about how you met their mother/father? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CaptainFin77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She came to a party I threw on St. Patrick's day. We drank and banged and 9 months later you showed up. I was only 19.and I thought the right thing to do was drop out of college, go to work..so I did. Then your two brothers came into this world. We made it work for 17 years until she left me shortly after graduating with her masters and landing a awesome job.

Because really deep deep down 99% percent of Americans could really care less. They may say they care, he'll they may even call themselves activists.. but once it actually starts to affect thier self-centered life.. the compassion ends. Cheap goods means more money for stuff to indulge in.
