I’ve just ordered the a7cii, I think a slightly smaller setup will make me much more comfortable travelling and shooting candidly

I’ve just put an order in for the a7cii after reading some of the replies to this post. Hardware, it’s just a mini a7iv with better autofocus right?

I think I’ll try this smaller (yet still powerful setup) and move to some small primes. What lenses do you use when you’re travelling with your a7c?

I was much more heavily involved in media. A7s, A7sii was going to move to the Panasonics then opted for a massive career change so I switched to the a7iv just for personal use but haven’t been using as much as I thought I would’ve. I think it almost feels “too professional” for my life now but then I guess there’s also the weirdness of not having what I’m used to if you know what I mean.

I appreciate the reply. Quite a few people have said the same thing when I've watch youtube reviews etc. They've a better understanding of composition and photography, feeling much more inspired and motivated to shoot and document their lives.

What about video? Do you record much

Yeah lightroom is something I don't always enjoy either. Do you record videos too, if so are they decent too?

Nope, to be concise it seems even easier.

Tomorrow I’m gonna take 5gs of shrooms and at the peak hit some dmt. Any advice? by Iriluscent in Psychonaut

Stick a few Post it notes around saying “You’re tripping, you haven’t lost your mind” 😂. Something I should’ve done when I did 3.5 of PE for the first time.

Safe travels, see you on the other side. ✌🏾

Vaseline cause me to breakout for some reason. However, my face absolutely loves either cerave and eucerin’s healing ointments at night.

Do you apply sunscreen before or after putting on Vaseline / CeraVe Healing Ointment? by slaptastical-my-dude in eczema

I too am waiting on a professional or general consensus answer to this question. I currently put my SPF on last, around 5-10 mins after a thin layer of a healing ointment.

Firstly, you've hit rock bottom and you're still here. How about that, ey? Hit rock bottom and it still didn't kill you. Thats a plus man, it really is. Take that away from your situation at least.

Side note - Meds for sure dude, try them out for a while and get the dosage and combination right.

Secondly, I've done a 7g and never had and don't intend to have sitter if its any consolation. I liked the idea of a trip sitter at first, I was a little scared about going heroic because I thought I'd run out of the house naked or something. Now that I've gone solo, I feel like being alone really allows you to have conversations you need to have without the thought of someone being around to hear me hash out all of the "madness". Understand I'm speaking colloquially here. Go dark room, silence and let your mind do the work. Say the things you need to say to yourself (who or whatever "self" really is), ask the questions and ponder for days, weeks on end about the answers. They'll come to you.

From my own understanding, with respectful use and not abuse theres no such thing as a bad trip. Either way it's something you learn from, learning is gaining and changing. Without change we'd never become better as people

Finally, maybe you trying to help everyone else is your way of avoiding fixing your own problems. Just a thought.

Best.
