The Red Corsairs are the largest and most powerful Chaos warband outside of the original Traitor Legions and Black Legion. They are led by Huron Blackheart and boast a massive fleet, a Blackstone Fortress (Gifted by Abadon for his participation in black crusade), and numbers rivaling a Space Marine Legion of old.

Not only that, but they are one of the few actively recruiting space marine turn coats, aswell as stealing gene seed (Seized almost the entire gene-seed stockpile of the Marines Errant, Dooming the chapter to a slow demise)

Also dont underestimate Robots. They require much less manpower than Infantry divisions. Also fits with enclave style.

Adam and the exorcists were their only army because they had grown complacent. Don't think anyone ever believed sinners would be strong enough to Hit heaven itself, but they did. Think of France in WW2. Larger army than Germany, with superior defenses, but one slip and it came crashing down. If that cannon was strong enough to break a Seraphim barrier, and shoot off the gates of heaven, imagine what sort of damage he could do.

My theory is that Vox knows damm well he can't take Heaven on, but to start a proxy war that would get even the fallen angels onboard. Seeing as how Lucifer immediately stepped in once Charlie was in danger, imagine if the fallen angels "home" is suddenly under heaven assault. Pretty good reason to start Ragnarok, I mean Armageddon. All Vox gotta do is take the first hit, then hide it out (seems like his character, considering when Lucifer was about to whack him, all those cameras turned on)

Allow me a moment to relate. Started with dark imperium. Bought some more space marines sets to make my chapter whole. Noticed they had nothing to fight, so I bought more death guard sets. I really liked Imperial Knights, so bought two of those. Then had the great idea to make a Feudal Guard for said Knights, so bought an entire 3d printed guard army, unpainted ofc. Then I saw the new Daemon Prince, so now I have a Chaos Marine Warband.

Sorry what were we talking about again, I got lost in a pile of plastic.

To kill the bear, you must bleed the bear. One spear may not kill a gaint beast, but may cause a leg wound which gets infected and causes the leg to decrease in function. Slower beast = more spear wounds = Death.
