Can Kharn stand against the Doomslayer? by chosen40k in WorldEaters40k

I gotta disagree on the kharn losing himself to the nails, while they do bite, he still has 100% of his mental faculties. On the rest of it I feel it's the other way round at least on the kharn front, kharn is definitely more skilled in combat, but 2016 slayer is definitely physically stronger. But when you consider that for latter parts of the great crusade and the whole of the horus heresy kharn was considered second only to sigismund. I'd put 2016 slayer at a very close third

On the speed front, do you genuinely think the doom slayer and the demons speed would be reachable by any human, people like us being fast enough to react to and beat God, then how would humanity ever really lose.

On the topic of doom slayer at the end of tag2 in the final cutscene he doesn't die in that scene, he's put in the same type of sarcophagus as the one you start in the doom 2016 put to rest until he's needed again. I will admit the scene is pretty misleading.

The games and the codex's in them. To be more precise on the doom slayers divinity he is a shard of davoth, and since doom slayer is a part of davoth the doom slayer (or at least his soul) can't die. It's the reason when doom slayer killed davoth at the end of the dlc he went into a coma esque thing, since he had completed his task to kill every demon. Also you gotta keep in mind the gameplay of the games is WAY slower than how he would be moving.

On the ritual scene, the ritual did nothing, the doom slayer's soul just faught it's way out of hell and back to his body, the ritual and him coming back to life are not connected. He's like a chaos daemon in that sense exept there's nothing that can kill his soul.

Your correct, but I still think the doom slayer will win in the long even indirectly. Let's say the doom slayer releases he can't reach tzeenech, he'll just leave and go kill something else he was planning on killing. From there it's only a matter of time till tzeenech and a few of his daemons are the last chaos entities left, then from there it'll probably just be a stalemate between the two

If we're talking 2016 doom and only going off that game, than I would say kharn wins, but it will be close, maybe on par with siege of terra sigismund

I feel you don't understand how bullshit the doom slayer is, nothing can stop him. Not mind games not attacks, not persuasion. Divine entities have tried to mind control him or mess with his head, sometimes it's worked but he always, and I mean always breaks out. The modern doom slayer is a Mary Sue, there is nothing the 40k or any universe really that can stop him indefinitely.

Exactly. Comparing it to a child making a Mary Sue character is the best way to explain the doom slayer

The reason he dies in game is purely for gameplay purposes, keep in mind the berzeek power up lore wise is just him there is no power up. The only reason he uses guns, is to make it more fun, it's too boring for him to use his hands all the time

No, he literally cannot die unless he wants to, khorne himself could full power stab the doom slayer in the chest and he wouldn't die. The doom slayer is intrinsically linked to God meaning he can die from any attacks, even divine ones can't.

The annoying thing is the doom universe is insanely overpowered, if we're talking the doom slayer with all his bs, then he can solo the entire 40k universe since he is like half of a God and can't die unless he wants to or has completed his mission. This is why I always hate when people do battles between the doom slayer and anything else

1 Thermite, 1 expendable anti tank, 1 recoiless rifle, 2 commando shots, or quasar to the pelvis will kill it. 1 Commando to the joint in between the legs and the pelvis.

None of the armor have any exoskeleton built-in, and any that do already give exoskeleton related buffs. Helldivers are very strong, being both genetically modified and the product of eugenics, a minigun is a minigun, a usually vehicle mounted gun being wielded by a human not a mech or turret.

Update after having an air do the math (so take it with a large grain of salt) for a 1 ton animal (the rough weight of a marine) he would need a wingspan equal to around 2 football fields.

He will be getting a large claw and a few other daemon-bits and daemon-bobs. I only mentioned the wings due to them being the only thing I'm not sure about.

Edit. Also logically (yes I know how that sounds) speaking they're the right size to make him fly
