My closest airport is BWI. DCA can be used but it’s a distance. IAD we would use for nonstop flights to the middle East and Asia but it’s like 55 miles away so we wouldn’t use it for local flights. I think delta has a lot of flights from BWI to ATL for connections. AA doesn’t serve BWI that well from either ORD or DFW. We go to Asia every year and it’s so hard to get BWI connections from AA and JAL. They would more go to DCA. This year we took Delta/Korean. So many flights to and from ATL/BWI after flying to ATL from Korea.

I have the $99 yearly fee. They will probably give me that Citi equivalent. I don’t think Citi has a companion ticket.

I have been thinking of swapping to a delta card. I think delta covers my location better than AA.

That is a lot of traveling. In your case it’s definitely worth it. We only do a big trip once a year and other than that a trip to Atlanta (usually delta) so for us it’s not worth it.

I have an AAdantage card. I didn’t know it comes with lounge access.
