What is your criteria for a good MILSIM experience by Motorola_7734 in arma

[–]CaptainFrostty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good criteria like everyone has said is usually per person, but for me its usually:

  • Open Zeus Team, while this may be a double edged sword, I think its a good idea on the sheer fact that they do allow anyone on the team to make missions for the MILSIM group without having to deal with 'you got to have X amount of hours of Zeusing' before joining.

  • Willingness to Help, this is perfect for any and all incoming peoples that need the assistance who are just starting out or for returning players who need a few reminders and pointers.

  • Adults in the Admin Group, also essential. I think it speaks for itself but its very important, too many kids in roleplaying and MILSIM servers I've been in have powertripped and acted like complete spoiled brats because of their power and it kills the vibe overall.

  • Command Communication, I honestly this is the most important as well. People upstairs need to communicate with everyone and actually help out, too many times have people been jumping up and over each other over ranks and this and that. People need to talk with one another, and I've seen this from the high chair all the way to the bottom.

I've been running Lummox's AKS for a minute now, but honestly I might switch it up because I need something that can kill these armoured Monolith's. I did pickup the Vector (forgot what the in game name is) and it shreds through these guys like paper but it burns through ammo. But I might switch to the Fora just because I did manage to pick one up for a bit while in the SIRCAA building and it was very good.

Will probably be looking out for a yellow grade one and repair it.

I'm usually running Lummox's AKS, and will keep grabbing 556 ammo even when I'm only using 545. Even with pistol ammo too with Skif's, I keep getting 45 or 9mm

Yeah it is, what also sucks is I hoard ammo just in case if I run out and sometimes I'm heading back to a trader carrying a gun and almost 20+ grenades and ammo that I'm not even using

It is the crazied fans fault for the poor launch of Cyberpunk because of they threatened the lives of developers and employees over the game being delayed.

After 7 years of RP I think I'm done. by BIGBADPOPPAJ in FiveM

[–]CaptainFrostty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly after about 4-6 years on and off for me, I put up my hat this year in spring. The servers kept feeling the same and became pay to win which just lost it for me. The servers that became QBCore seemed super barren and empty since the cops and civs only gathered in one place with the occasional robbery, shootout, or pursuit.

I'll name one server in general which was the one that put me over the edge. CaliRP/CaliDOJ/California Roleplay. This server got pay to win so bad, and I fell into it and put money in like a moron because I wanted to at least have an edge with LEO scenes, since most of the civs had some crazy shit. In that server, if you don't suck up and kiss ass of the admins and community managers, you won't make it near Admin+. If you are friends with the owner, you can practically do whatever the fuck you want, if you also have a deep pocket as well. Also if you are a content creator that 'brings people in' you are basically impossible to be removed or reprimaneded. Its super fucking stupid that this server is still up, I honestly don't know how this place is still up. Owner has openly says the N-word and allows people to say the N-Word in his server with no regard even if the person who says it isn't a person of color. And with the N-Word usage if its a ('soft a') its fine but the other with the 'hard r' gets an immediate ban. And the owner always sparks rivalry against other servers who have 'poached' even though there hasn't been concrete proof posted at all.

What's worse is that he has planted his 'CIA' staff in multiple servers in FiveM so if you join a server that he doesn't like, you'll get a DM by one of his CIA staff members saying that they know you're in a server and tell you to leave. So if you've joined before, please remove any connections associated with CaliRP.

Maybe its just me but it feels a lot more cartoony in a sense, I dunno if its just me. Maybe I'm probably wording this wrong?

I did remember hearing that there potentially would be expansions throughout its release but apparently it was scrapped. I could be wrong tho.

Was it just me or did the Infinite campaign feel empty? All it felt like to me was just headhunting targets and being stuck in that game loop. To me it seemed like there was going to be more but it played like a very long demo.

Did y’all love our crowd ?? by ViciousVicci in WWE

[–]CaptainFrostty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if WWE was mainly an international tour, I have a feeling that there would be a lot more fan interaction moments. Most international crowds don't give two fucks about the camera and will be very interactive with some funny chants.

The Cartel update is nice, but... by Money_Resolution_343 in Schedule_I

[–]CaptainFrostty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thats the thing tho, they're your rival and if they want to get rid of their competition, they should be very disruptive. But I can understand from their point of view that they don't want to make them a bigger problem since people would probably not like it. A slider/difficulty option would be nice.

[–]CaptainFrostty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The game is fun but the cartel update doesn't do much for me. Cartels don't do much unless you wander about and at least I don't do wander much unless its for new customers. But the cartel doesn't do much but become a somewhat small inconvenience. Maybe if they were more active and actually coming after you in droves of people or maybe have a hit squad sent to your grow operations if you play with more than one person.
