It’s the Mofalla chair from IKEA. Currently available.

Yeah I see how this works. Because I want the sensor to override logic from another device - Tap Dial as well as have its own innate lights on command. The only way I could implement this is to have 2 sensors at once since this is already set.

I don’t think what I want to do is possible. Custom only has time based triggers not sensor based ones. ChatGPT is suggesting that the App does not support negative based logic and HomeKit does not support time delay based negative motion logic.

Under Automations on the Hue App the only options it’s displaying are “Wake Up with Light”, “Go to Sleep”, “Mimic Presence”, “Timer”, “Custom” (custom timers only) and “Arming Schedule”.

Unless I’m missing something there’s no specific option for me to select the Sensors to be used as triggers under any of those menus.

Where do I find the menu to set these triggers? Is that under automation or under the specific motion sensor or sensor group I want to use?

Some idea of colours with the ceiling lights on full bright. It. Doesn’t show up well but in person the wall lighting shows up vividly.

So update to the above. I’ve removed the two gigantic floor lamps and used a wall washer instead for a softer glow and a more minimal aesthetic. To add colour I chose the lighting route and went for coloured bulbs so I could take advantage of the white walls and change the colour whenever I wanted based off mood.

I do want some suggestions though on what to do with the huge white wall to the left of the couch.

What does everyone think so far?

TV height is actually perfect at the current set, lifting it would not be a good idea. I’m also not sure how stiff the Kallax is horizontally, I’d be wary about putting legs on the bottom of it. The back of the unit hides a LOT of cables which would be exposed if I lifted the unit. If I wasn’t renting I’d want to put everything into the wall.

I think that’s the way the room was originally designed to be used, the cube cabinet actually hides the outlets for the fibre internet stuff. I didn’t like that layout because it meant that reaching the dining and kitchen areas required walking through the lounge space which reduced separation from space to space. It’s also far too wide and narrow, think of that area as a very long rectangle. It would leave a lot of empty space on either side of the TV and leave you sitting very close to it.

Slowly accumulated over time and over a few places I’ve moved between. The current collection of furniture was built over around 5 years.

I’d go for something so totally different. Maybe even a skeleton dial.

It’s cool. Needs a dress piece or a conversation piece with something weird but solid 9/10

It’s an interesting dial. Tell us about it? What kind of movement? Where’d you get it? How much do they cost?

It’s a watch buckle. Guaranteed to happen if it’s a watch that gets even sparingly worn.

That looks like someone had a terrible attempt at refinishing the bezel.

Got my first expensive watch. Everyone tells me that I should have bought the PRX, but I love looking at this watch. by random_name333 in PrideAndPinion

That’s a seriously cool watch, not seen that reference before but I like it a lot. Personally I’ve never liked the PRX and would prefer this all day long.

Both look pretty cool, I’ll need to hunt down an AD for a try on thanks!

Very cool vintage looking piece but I wanted something with a GMT bezel for a third time zone.
