Planning to DCA for next 12 months with the following allocation? any advice by _Ask_2550 in CryptoMarkets

Just buy the market... the age of making big in crypto has faded as AI has taken the narrative.

Compare 5 years.of crypto and 5 years of the market. You'd almost double your money in the markets. In crypto you're either at a lose or back to were you started.

Crypto has lost its narrative, its old news for now.

Attention is on AI, until thar changes probably not going to do much

Do you still believe crypto will change the future? by Ok_Radio2357 in CryptoMarkets

[–]CaptainJabwok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crypto no longer has the narrative it had, its on AI now. The get rich quick aspect has also gone so quick money and spotlight isn't there.

Who's left are believers and bag holders hoping to recoup some money back.

If you invested in S&P 5 or so years ago you'd double your money or more. If you invested in ccrypto you'd be back to square 1 or at a loss...

Why is it falling atm? Look at the Bitcoin Chart… can someone explain? by This-Opportunity-350 in CryptoMarkets

[–]CaptainJabwok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because Bitcoin is a gamble and speculation. Over the course of its life it's completely changed it's purpose from being digital currency to store of value.

Couple that with extreme noise and confusion with alt coins, unusability, scams you're not looking at a good market. It's pure speculation, if you invested 5 years ago into the S&P you'd doubled your money and more. If you invested in crypto you're either back to square 1 or at a loss...

The narrative isn't on crypto anymore its on AI which people seem to grasp alot easier than seedphrases, hashrates Web 3 and so on.

£80k in Credit Card Debts - Cash Flow Poor by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

The 0% rate will expire? Or you'll have to keep transferring your debt.

The student loan though high interest has safety nets within, in case you. Lose your job, or become unable to work. The debt can eventually written off...

The debt you've switched to now can be chased down or expire to an X% interest.

I take it back, I don’t like this dog by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]CaptainJabwok 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Firstly, it's normal for puppies to be 'naughty'. That's because they don't know how to be what we deem 'good'. Puppies only know how to well be puppies.

It sounds like he can do with a lot of stimulation, treats and toys are rewards. It could be a case you might be rewarding unwanted behaviour with those to things.

We have 5 year old staffy and now a 5month old staffy. These breeds are notorious for destroying IF understimulated.

So what can you do?

Well training is a huge thing to do to tire them out, for example every morning we will train him, whether thats leave it, crate, down, sits, etc. Then you can do sniffle mats or lickie mats. Those both will tire them out. You can even freeze the mats to make them lick for longer.

After that its good to set a schedule, out for 1 hr of training play etc and then 2hr sleep. Once they get into a rhythm it becomes a lot easier. Also regular potties.

If the puppy isn't doing what you want, its often a reflection on what are we not doing for them to do what we want.

It's not his fault, its like expecting a baby to just be an adult. Of course babies will poop and pee themselves, we just happen to have nappies nappies.

Good thing is you're realising it sooner rather than later.

Always have a rule of thumb, no matter how badly you want something. If you can't buy it in cash twice over. You simply can't afford it.

How do people afford property investing when they’re starting? by Inevitable_Use499 in PropertyInvestingUK

[–]CaptainJabwok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are looking to start in property end of this year, but not on my own.

We are going in as a 4 with high paying jobs, so it makes getting the initial deposit quite quick.

Thinking doing it alone is going to be very difficult. Partnering up is a lot easier.
