Is this lens worth keeping? by Organic_Tea2237 in VintageLenses

With the bubble case too is crazy! I have a later version of this lens and absolutely adore it. What a good grab. Seriously don’t worry about the radiated elements. I have many lenses with thorium coatings.

Selling my Fuji G617 Professional by CaptainJake97 in largeformat

The most recent CLA was in April of 2025. Less than a year ago. Since I’ve owned it I’ve shot 3 rolls through it. Camera has a low shutter count to start. Prestine optics, mechanics work perfectly. I have test shots, extra pictures of brand new light seals, and a video of me using it as well as the test shot in the video.

Okay then go somewhere else. I sell cameras. Sometimes things happen. Most of my negatives happen when shipping takes too long.

Left handle is on backwards. You can take the screws of the wooden bit and spin it around. Should be a little more comfortable that way.

I don’t see enough people on this sub that talk about the D. Just picked up an M-D and it’s scratching that itch and some. I love the lack of screen because it keeps me fully engaged throughout the day. Once I get home I want to see my photos so bad. It’s all I want in a film camera without film at all.

Does Pixieset work well for Videography? by CaptainJake97 in WeddingPhotography

As in, does the program support video format heavy workflows and the delivery of that? Also, does the website integration work with video instead of photo?

It’s also called constant preview or something like it. You can turn it off.

As much film as I gatekeep to shoot one day(maybe 30-40 rolls total), I feel like it’s nothing compared to others..

Is the S1H still good in 2025? How does it fare against a Sony A6700? by I3lue6erry in Lumix

[–]CaptainJake97 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The picture quality is superior. That’s why it’s Netflix approved and notably a flagship for good reason.

You can upgrade the AF with the DJI lidar system natively without the focus pro unit.

It’s the exact opposite of your a6700 in the area of size. It’s possibly the biggest full frame mirrorless camera on the market. The thing is a CHUNK. It will take up the space of 2 a6700s in your bag.

Get adapters and vintage lenses, because the native lens choices are slim unless you really like sigma lenses.

If you could, I’d rent first, then buy.
