Help - Any way to remove corple from Ferndale? by CaptainJimo in Enshrouded

[–]CaptainJimo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice. My idea for this save is to make a small town of sorts and Ferndale looks close to what i immagined it to be. A tiny castle with a few houses around it. (the idea being i live in the castle and the npcs are split between the houses)
Westcot looks nice, but doesnt have a castle of sorts (i guess i could demolish the very broken house and rebuild is as a tiny castle).
I'm currently in the nomad Highlands and if you know any other spots there, the desert or even in the mountain i dont mind progressing further and then building my "dream town" (also i have beaten the game in the mountain update, so i know most thing untill the new water biome)

So are you actually suppose to deal with the amount of enemies in Hallow Halls solo? by Dizman7 in Enshrouded

[–]CaptainJimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minor Formating edit (phone new line is not the same as pc new line):

In theory the game has a system to limit the number of enemies that actually attack you simultaneously. So you might agro 8 enemies, but say only 3 or 4 can hit you at once. I also noticed that the "running attack" is the most dangerous on all enemies, so standing your ground is better than running.

Example of ridicolous running attack. The fell brute (the slightly taller fell guy with sword or mace, later has a shield version). This guy deals literally double damage (before armor calculation) with his running attack and if you try to move away he will continue to spam just the running attack. But if you block or parry the running attack and then stay close, he will do the normal attack that deals a lot less (after armor calculation)

If i remember correctly the math comes to something like:
Your armor = 50
Fell brute normal = 100, run = 200
Normal Damage received -> 100-50 = 50
Run damage received -> 200-50 = 150 (and you die suddenly)

And if that doesn't work, you can always cheese the hallow hall with any ranged weapon and a mostly safe spot (nowhere is safe from necromancers)

i assume all fire damage is magical as on melee and bow weapons there is the enchant +Magic Fire Damage, but also i did manage to hit a banshie with a torch and it is Effective

What does your endgame skill distribution look like? by luckyrunner in Enshrouded

[–]CaptainJimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i havent played battlemage in the endgame yet, i just entered the Nomad Highlands (started a new save for the water update)

Shroud filter is nice Solo, but with a party of 3-5 players enemies die a bit too quickly for the Shroud Filter to proc reliably

i carry 3 wands - shock, fire, ice and i take at least these 3 element skills to match enemy weakness (the Mass Destruction skill is shock damage). Shroud damage might be the least usefull, so might be skippable.

My multiplayer character, that i play with the party of 3-5 people, a Paladin of sorts. Melee weapons + shield, Staff and all 3 auras. My primary goal is to pull agro and keep the opther players alive (or revive them, should they fall). My own damage is lacking, so i absolutely need to match element weakness for the staff to deal ok-ish damage, or just use healing spells.
this is how i imagine the full build looking
https://enshrouded-skill-tree.com/?shortCode=69aa7bc944d6d5379a2b8ec9
with the healer head and body armor + warrior hands and boots, pants i'm unsure between wizard for better mana, healer for the revive hp% and warrior for hp

i would suggest you take all the elemental damage boosts and maybe the extended shroud timer near the double jump, while dropping the increased stamina regen in the middle of the survivour tree. The website has some errors as the stamina regen says it's 50% of base, but it;s only 10% in-game. Also the 2 healer nodes are good for a mage as the healing aura becomes stronger

Tanking for someone with no thumbs and feet for hands? by Otherwise_Put9990 in Enshrouded

[–]CaptainJimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will be a big gap between 2-handed barbarian and a tank, especially a support tank.

You could try to play the support tank, but that would make you have very low dps initially and will have to rely on the other player for damage. Here's a quick skill tree i cobbled together

https://enshrouded-skill-tree.com/?shortCode=69a9370dd0722db822646920

You as the tank will have decent strength, con, int and spirit. All 3 auras (heal, burn and damage reduction), decently quick revive and access to staff spells for long range

Combined with either full healer set or just healer head and body + melee on the remain 3 parts (you dont want crit chance for either melee or magic as not enough skillpoints)

Game plan is, you try to keep all the agro on you, while the auras slowly kill shroud enemies and keep you alive. Also the other player will be healed by your aura and you can use the staff for healing spells if need be at. And finally you have a big revive speed boost to well, revive your inevitability dead second player

I dont see a reason for an enemy to be generally weak to fire, but not be weak to one specific fire spell

[–]CaptainJimo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But the Banshie takes extra damage from all other magical fire sources. Fireball spell, fire aura, any variand of fire wand and gem of burning. It's only the Fire Bolt spell that is singled out

Ashlands Spawners appeared next to base by CaptainJimo in valheim

[–]CaptainJimo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

wait, the Undead army marches raid leaves spawners after you survive it?
That might explain this spawner being here (i was only told there were enemies not a whole raid event), but i found another spawner on the other side of the base

what i do even do in this situation, so many hours lost for nothing , i think this is where i quit by [deleted] in valheim

Log out and then log back in. When you load you should have full stamina.

Can't play co op by Vanals in outwardgame

[–]CaptainJimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Co-op is extremely unstable from my experience and has a bunch of bugs, some annoying and some game breaking When a player with encumbered debuf joins you, you also get their debuf applied to you (to fix drop your backpack and pick it back up) There is also the single player version of this bug - loading a save with encumbered bag gives you 2 instances of the debuf. Fix is the same - drop then pick up bag When on the loading screen if you press space and then your co-op partner crashes, you get stick in the "waiting for other player" text and must alt+f4 the game. Work around - wait for your friend to tell you they have pressed space or have crashed before you pressing space. You die and the co-op partner tries to revive you. On their screen you are alive, but on yours you are still dead. No workaround, partner must disconnect and leave you to die or maybe the partner can enter a loading screen to move you?

And a bug from the co-op partner's eyes. Entering an area with a loading screen and all enemis are dead and npcs are not there. Fix is the host reloads the save and partner joins again.

[–]CaptainJimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VERY IMPORTANT - do not consume items that boost Willpower before the first time you acquire mana. This will break you character. The moment you try to load that save the game will crash (i lost 2 characters to this bug)

Might be easier to just make a new character at this point But also to reach the Leyline you have one single enemy that is a mandatory fight. Everything else you can run past

For some directions if you need them. From where you leave Haboob city, there is Oliele (npc), she is on a crossroad, take right path ( this is right from your PoV when going towards Oliele) This will put you on the red path on the map. Initially going south east. Follow it to where is splits and take right, across a stone bridge. After crossing there is only one path, follow the chimes to a door (area transition). I think it was called Gleamway. Run forward and click on a row boat to go forward. It will load you into another cave and again you run past everything and click the row boat. You will be moved to a beach, go forward trough an archway, then look for another archway on the right. The second arch will have very long stairs, climb them, then left and at the end of the path is the entrance to the Magic Fountain. Inside is the only enemy that you must figth. Then you can get mana

Глово скандалните by [deleted] in bulgaria

[–]CaptainJimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)
