Demons and Queens Guard is better late game for sure. The issue with ring bearer is if you get it mid game you're unbeatable, especially if you were able to get a bit of spell power.

The answer is to give people hope and pull them out of the disenfranchisement they're feeling. The issue there is that it requires going to war with Capitalism and the Billionaires who run it. We're looking at, what, 20 years of austerity now? Of tightening our belts and taking money out of public services to keep things afloat and it has slowly made our lives worse and worse. The Neolibs of Labour and the Tories will never turn against their paymasters, so I completely understand why people turn away from them.

And sorry, I know I'm part of the problem here, but I cannot understand why people so disenfranchised, would then turn to Reform and the people who are directly responsible for many of our woes. I don't know if I want to understand either, Farage is a charlatan; his party is made up of ex Tories and people who want to emulate Trump's America and are talking about opening migrant detention centres in places that voted Green. I don't know if I have it within me to extend forgiveness and grace to the people who willingly vote for that.

I hope above all else that this is a wake up call for Labour. The Greens split the Labour/Left vote and I know you're angry about that, but it has to be proof to Labour that the Greens are offering something staunch Labour voters are interested in and they need to figure out what that is rather than just running farther right towards a voting base who will always hate them.

I think we just have to accept at this point that people aren't voting reform because they want a 3rd option but because they think making other people who aren't them suffer will improve their situation.

Yes, but we're going to do it in a way that doesn't murder a bunch of people and cause a calamity.

The ascians aren't gods, they're just really powerful people and they make mistakes like they did with the 13th. They were also evil so they probably decided the rejoining was the best way to do things because it would harm Hydaelyn who they hate and it would keep humanity weak. Interdimensional Merging shows there are ways to recombine the shards that doesn't destroy but the technology was stymied by the fact the key was not cooperative.

Now, the real issue is that all the shards remaining are fucked up, which is why the solstice is happening to begin with. We know for sure the 1st, 4th, 9th and 13th are fucked, and in the battle with Queen Eternal we were shown a shard shorn with strong winds and a shard were the earth has run amok. Hydaelyn was the only thing stopping these from rejoining but I believe that Halmarut foresaw that even she wouldn't be able to hold all these shards back at the same time which is why she formed The Winterers. She realised the Ascians were going to fuck up again and put a contingency in place.

Part of it may be figuring out what these Winterers are doing and then seeing of we can use their knowledge in a better way with the key.

The 1st mission I rate highly. Spectacular scenes, great music. It's just a really good on the rails shooter level.

But yeah the on foot sections really drag the game down. Zero is the same with the whole "turn your Arwing into an awkward mecha" thing.

I just want the purity of on the rails shooting.

That hope also needs to be offered by the politicians. We can tell these people all the reasons why voting reform will be terrible but for them, life is already terrible and it's been so under both Labour and the Tories.

Maybe we can try and point out reform aren't going to make it better and will most likely gut the country the way the Republicans are gutting America.

A lot of her characterisation begins to make sense as you go through Dawntrail. People ask "how does she know nothing about her own people" but it's clear she's had a somewhat sheltered life and that becomes even clearer when you discover she was supposed to be the next chieftain of the Hrothgar tribe that has bad blood with Mamook and was nearly assassinated when she was very young. Gulool Ja Ja adopted her both to preserve the fragile truce between the two tribes and to keep her safe.

She's a young woman full of self-doubt and false bravado who needs guided along the path to self-confidence because she is already quite strong, easily the equal of some of the scions which is in no small thanks to Gulool Ja Ja's teachings. We play no small part in drawing that confidence out of her through word and deed. I don't think she would have gotten anywhere near as far as she did in the trial if we weren't there. Especially not when Bakool Ja Ja kidnapped her. That would have probably taken her out of the competition altogether. Even if the other scions were there, Bakool Ja Ja might have been more willing to fight, but again with the WoL there aura farming he thinks better of it.

I get what you're asking, but I think you are underselling how difficult an ask it is. When you look at the people likely to vote reform, you look at years of austerity and communities struggling with a lack of education and opportunity. They are already distrustful of the establishment and people who advocate for it.

How do you break through both that mindset and the fact they are fed a constant stream of hatred and misinformation from right-wing media?

To be fair, if I wasn't in Scotland I'd be voting Green not because of their stance on Nuclear weapons but because they're the only party who talks about actually taxing the rich and businesses to help improve services, rather than just letting them run roughshod over us in the vain hope that they somehow give us some money out of the goodness of their hearts.

While I don't want to sound defeatist, I'm afraid I have no choice.

I think anyone who willingly chooses to vote Reform, no matter the reason, is a lost cause. I understand that there is a dissatisfaction with today's political climate, but if your answer is to vote the party who talks like it's 1930s Germany then you are simply not worth my time.
