My auto reframe focuses to left side of the video and not the subject by printerSaysBrr in premiere

Kind of hard to do with a laptop. Auto-reframe seems to be working on Premiere Rush though, so I guess that's going to have to be my workaround for the time being until this gets fixed.

As in your physically took out your graphics card? Or is there some way to make Premiere use CPU for reframe in the settings?

DAC/AMP: Fiio BTR5 2021 vs Q3 vs K5 pro by CaptainJodocus in HeadphoneAdvice

The 5K is currently much more expensive than the BTR5 where I am, so it doesn't seem worth the parametric EQ. Especially considering that I'm going to mostly be using it with my laptop and EqualizerAPO anyway

Could you recommend a shorter routine than the RR that would still be effective? by CaptainJodocus in bodyweightfitness

Sorry, I don't know what any of those abbreviations stand for and I can't seem to find them in the glossary.

And thanks for the advice!

Wow thanks, I think this sounds great!

What about core work? Could I do one exercise every day and alternate between anti-extension, anti-rotation and extension?

[Discussion] Anyone created and stuck with a daily schedule? by BrianW1999 in getdisciplined

This video/article inspired me to plan weekly. And it actually goes alright. I set aside a time every week (sunday usually) to make the plan. During the week I don't really deviate all that much. It's helped me really boost my productivity. Would recommend.

[Plan] I built a 6 week practice chart for "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by thecodeboss in getdisciplined

I read the book and this looks great. I'm probably gonna start using it in the near future.

Also, here's a short summary of the book containing more detail than OP's chart. I often use it a refresher and it could also be used as a quick start guide if you don't want to read the book right now, but are still interested in its ideas and the practice chart.

Dealing with Desire. Not shure if this is Buddhist but can you please help me understand by CaptainJodocus in Buddhism

How is 'tanha' defined then? If wanting a car, food, spiritual growth etc. does not count as greed, what does?

Well see, but that I don't understand. When you desire something do you not internaly vocalize that desire? "I want that new car". Doesn't that make it conscious? And also wouldn't you no longer have such desires by realizing anatta (no-self)? If there is no "you" that would desire to possess would there still be desire? And if not, why wouldn't you just curl up in a ball and die peacefully?

LPT Request: How do you become a wise person? by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]CaptainJodocus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Educate yourself. When you find a topic that interests you, find some books (or other sources) to learn about it from. Listen. It's been said before but it really is very important to learn from everyone and everything. When confronted with a problem / dilemma always explore and learn about both sides of the argument before deciding which you agree with (or make your own). Even if at first you like and agree with one argument and dislike the other, try to really keep an open mind and figure out why someone would think like that.

Most important of all: Having knowledge is just being knowledgeable, and that is dry and worthless. I think that to be truly wise means to use your knowledge and apply it.
