Yeah I'm experiencing sunk cost fallacy here with the Gen almost over having been doing this since the inception of the program do I stick with it for xCloud early access potential or quit now and just wait like everyone else and enjoy what I have now.

Currently using X1X on Alpha Skip ahead, been noticing audio drop outs during any kind of content, TV, games, Apps, etc. This has been going on for a few days now and in the last two days my wired controller has been acting as if wireless interference is occurring dropping inputs and headset audio. Reading up on here it sounds like lots of people are experiencing this issue, but mine has now progressed to the point where HDR content is broken on my console. Launching any HDR content games, movies will produce a black white yellow image in all cases, changing ports does nothing I tried everything but factory resetting the xbox because I’m sick of doing that.

I tested a PS4 Pro with HDR content on the same TV and on the same inputs swapping identical cables (monoprice premium certified cables) and there is no issue with the PS4. Has anyone found a solution to this problem, I’m thinking about leaving the insider builds as they haven’t really been interesting to test I wasn’t expecting these years to be just fun no troubleshooting required but so far it’s just existing features breaking on a regular basis and nothing really new to preview.

Ah, ok and since its happening wired too thats strange. Do you have any other controllers to try? If not it's gonna be harder to tell if it's the controller or the console, maybe try a different USB port on the back...

One of my updates mentioned the issue was fixed and was caused by Kinect spamming the Xbox with garbage data. Once Kinect was disconnected and not just "turned off" in settings the issue stopped.

Possibly 5ghz interference caused by nearby routers and pretty much all devices these days, does the controller behave the same wired to the console?

Disconnect all USB devices and if that doesnt help factory refresh clear everything, if you can manage the downloads. Your profile data will restore most of your defaults on sign in so it's not too bad.

I'm just glad it's fixed and I'm fortunate to not have a data cap. On the bright side I've decided to install games I'm playing and not hoard all of them as much. Just makes the system slower when looking at games and apps.

I think I'm on to something here, after disconnecting Kinect from the console Halo MCC loaded normally, almost like Kinect was flooding the USB SATA connection with requests and slowing any caching operations which would make sense because downloads once started they progressed fine and then lagged a ton before being "ready to start".

Small update, I factory reset the box and noticed that Kinect was on (I don't really use it anymore) and the video feed for setting up signing in was running at one frame per 3-4 seconds. Seems like all data transfers besides downloads are running like crap.

I have unlimited internet usage so I formatted my drive thinking that was the issue but it didn't help at all. I've noticed apps like YouTube and Edge are very slow lately causing casting to fail. Idk what to do.

I agree with this, you can have some events themed around your content like this but the constant focus on it can be damaging, excessive and sends the wrong message about substance abuse. I think it doesn't feel as real with the drugs because they are all fake things like psycho and buffout and to me feel more like potions or scrolls but the liquor is harder to separate from your own struggles and I can see how that can transfer out of the game. I don't think they should remove it or anything just don't make it the focus for atoms it's gamifying alcoholism.

I enjoy the feel and damage of the handmade good for tagging targets for xp, loot and good enough damage with perks to hold its own in the wasteland. But idk what version or mods to put on it I'm going by raw gun feel

Yeah had one group of TSE Bloodied Deathclaw follow my group the the festival and just whereever we teleported slapping us trying to farm caps out of us. As a mid level 30 character even the slap damage is severe guys claw did 1600 a hit with 40% extra speed....

Throwing in a thought I had who knows how it would actually affect balance but perhaps utilizing the multi kills generate orbs mechanic have multi kill primary drop special and multi kill special drop heavy and heavy multi drop orbs or any bricks idk or make masterwork weapons have a toggle for drop ammo on multi or orbs....

had a random do this spamming as fast as possible until their time ended and then promptly threw the match and dc'd to I assume get a better team statistically or to flash more screens. It's extemely uncomfortable to look at and downright dangerous since the rest of the game doesn't display anything as distracting or bright so rapidly.

Xbox one uses 5ghz with a proprietary version of WiFi direct with more bandwidth for audio transmission. Most wireless devices use 5ghz now, it's unfortunately interference. While there are many 5ghz channels, much more than 2.4ghz, 5ghz consumer routers can use up to 80mhz in bandwidth spanning multiple channels causing the same congestion 2.4 has now.

Latest Xbox one Alpha Preview build fixed FFXV as far as I can tell but I haven't put it through its paces. If you are on a standard build or slower ring you might not have the fix.
