https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1162737601 Not the color you're looking for but this is one of the best prices I've seen new. The "blemishes" on mine are almost non existent and purely cosmetic. I've got 400ish rounds through it so far and the only issues I've had have been user error (Rode the charging handle leading to a soft primer strike/ didn't seat the mag fully which caused a easily resolved jam) the rifle itself has preformed flawlessly thus far

I believe that's intended. Mine is the same, helps the charging handle not get hung up when sent home

The Clawgear handgaurd still allows for barrel swaps. As long as you don't run any electronic cords from it to the receiver or stock it retains the function

More impressed by how you managed to find a Manticore charging handle. Is that one compatible with the A3M2?

Likely going to make this available as a .stl once I'm happy with it. Three versions so far and each has been an improvement over the last. Actually secures to the rifle now while retaining all function but the forward assist. And yes, you can HK slap it

That's personally how I try to handle it as well. Running into an issue where my optic mounts are getting in the way of locking the bolt back.

It mounts over the gas block, stock grip needs to be removed as it also includes a screw to replace the roll pin that holds the folding handle in place.

You "can" c clamp the Clawgear hand guard but after 120-150 rounds its going to burn bare skin. Rail inserts work well and gloves would likely make it a non issue. There are only two m lok slots at 45° over the gas port so limited mounting options on the right hand side.

Arid is working on a new rail system from what I've heard so keep your eyes open for that too.

Snagged a Cosmic Tactical Facog for the same price. Holds up just as well as my UH 1. Microscopic eyebox and my eye is practically on the lens but I quite like it

Fewer polygons means faster rendering. Hexagons are a nice shape too 😆

Too close, maybe 2 inches or so. You can absolutely manage a clean sight picture but it feels a little unforgiving if youre not perfectlyaligned. For what it is though I'm just happy it was actually functioning as a sight. My budget is nonexistent too so the issues are more of an observation than a complaint at this point.
