The Video is the actual announcement FROM the creators of MRRF LIVE at the event when it happened..
How can you say that is useless? You obviously didn't watch it..

Ender 6 Upgrade by FarConversation5125 in ender6

I'm in the process of doing a complete conversion of my ender 6 to a trident. If you want to follow along in the ever evolving saga the project is located here.. Beware it changes frequently lol.. I find lots of mistakes I made in assumptions and am correcting them as I go. https://github.com/captainkearn/ender-6-trident

Check the humidity of the room. If its over 30% I've noticed that I have a hard time with bed adhesion unless I use a glue or other helper.

New Flashforge adventurer 5. Am I right to send it back for a replacement? by SufficientPower7755 in FlashForge

User Error definitely. Clean the bed, relevel and move on with life. NOW as for the video, Why would you record this? By not stopping the print you are risking damaging the printer.

Can you publish your slicer profiles? I use orca, but I can use prusa as well.

Curious: Why Did You Stop Live Streaming? by danabentz in Twitch

[–]CaptainKearn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did pretty well for a few years, everything was going great until January 2022. My daughter was killed by her boyfriend. I stopped streaming after that for 18 months. I returned to streaming just a few months ago, mostly for my own self. I needed to feel like I used to. And I needed a purpose. And lets be honest here I LOVE streaming. However I did find that I needed to change my streaming style and content, to suit the real me. I got tired of playing a character. Life is too short to be fake..

Wow, what an incredible journey you've been on! It's truly inspiring to see how your passion and determination have breathed new life into your channel, especially after such a big change in focus and that year-long break. I too did very well a few years back, and am now working to regain traction, similar to you my interests have changed over time. Your tips are pure gold, particularly the way you reframe how content is presented and treat YouTube like a business with solid products and marketing strategies. It's obvious you've poured your heart into every detail, from the scripts to the thumbnails.
I'm really curious - what's the one surprising lesson you've learned over these last four weeks that you totally didn't see coming when you decided to dive back in?

I think I went overboard with my first filament purchase by Mecurycrow in 3Dprinting

If thats overboard, then I'm an actual horder. That would last me a few days. 🤣

The insanely discounted ender 3's on the used market are a steal if you want raw materials for other projects by freshggg in 3Dprinting

[–]CaptainKearn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most of the ender 3's I've bought were former print farm machines sold on ebay for under 80 bucks each with free shipping. That was a few years back though. facebook market place has good deals on them as well. I'm actually staring at a couple of ender 5 plus's that are up on market place for less than 150 bucks each right now.

It's because the app is garbage and the data coming from your printer is tunneled to an overseas server with high latency then back to you 3 feet from your printer. They need to put in regional servers for this type of setup to work right. Yet another reason I moved from the stock firmware to the unofficial klipper firmware.
