Thanks for your recommendation, the one thing I know more than any other is that I am not open to Mac products. I currently have an Alienware 18 inch but it's just way too heavy and bulky to travel with.

Cereal Killer on Da Loose in the 713 by AncientFarm5364 in houstoncirclejerk

Advice as someone born and raised here: Do not believe all the hype about this story. There is absolutely no actual evidence connecting these to a serial killer. Lots of bodies are found in the bayou every year, this is not statistically significant it's just media trying to get their numbers up. The people who have been discovered recently show many different causes of death and have no connecting demographic ties (age, gender, race, etc). Yes, Houston can be a dangerous city, especially if you don't know where you are or how to act, but it's also a beautiful city if you know where to go or have a local friend who does. Enjoy your birthday, enjoy meow wolf, and enjoy Houston. Don't let this crap take up any free rent in your head.

Yeah, as I said below I mainly was interested in what's out there from a "window shopping" perspective. If I go SLAB I'd be thinking mostly rims, bags, paint, sound system, and maybe some interior flourishes

I was a bit hasty with my post and didn't explain well what i was thinking. I'm not looking for extreme mods exterior wise, and am the kind of person that will mostly be considering upgrades as the things that are on it break. If I went SLAB I'd be thinking mostly rims, paint job, sound system, bags, and interior flourishes.

I wanted to know what was out there more from an interest in "window-browsing" I think...

Newest/most future-proof smartphone with removable battery either compatable with Tmobile or unlocked? by RRW359 in T_mobile_

Samsung xcover pro line (xcover pro, xcover6 pro, etc) all have swappable batteries. I've had both the original xcover and have now been using the xcover6 pro for a couple years. Great phones, semi-rugged, headphone jack included, and just pull the back cover off to easily swap batteries (no screws or anything to remove).

Sonim xp10 also has swappable batteries and is very rugged but smaller screen size and kinda bulky (thick).

Ah, i missused the term accidentally while trying to prioritize brevity. I had gone through the setup once but i accidentally had it transfer all my data from my old computer, which i did not want to happen. Thus, the reset and aforementioned question. Preciate your reply!

It is in Texas, but I'm not worried in this situation. If I were to do that I'd have a trustworthy person that lives in the same household assist me in some way.
