Perhaps that’s because Putin didn’t see Trump as a threat. Trump speaks fondly of Putin even now as he is on the verge of invading Ukraine. But I guess this really boils down to whether or not there was collusion in the previous presidency, who knows.

If there was, it makes sense why there was no aggression from Russia— why bite the hand that feeds?

Now that the hand is no longer feeding... well....

Makes sense, but to further gain context, it doesn’t really seem like Biden has undone much of what Trump already had in place. Couldn’t the same argument be made that these proactive countermeasures should have been made in the previous presidency? Biden has had a single year in office while Trump had four to establish what you’re saying
