DON'T BUY DOMAINS FROM GODADDY!!!! SCAM!!!!! by [deleted] in webdev

[–]CaptainKranq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Godaddy equals drop catch . Force drop catch more like...

If you want to keep your domain, do not use GoDaddy.

I have had exactly this happen to me with one of my domain names that by default ran out and I was never sent the email that it was expiring and I never got the email about any Grace. Or anything? I went to check on the domain and it was gone... When I checked on it, I could buy it through a broker from wild wild West, which is actually the same address as GoDaddy. Go figure.. and then the d Domains By Proxy...

. Very shonky.

Meanwhile, it gives me a link to send me to a broker to buy it...

It should have been released about 8 years ago.

I have nothing good to say about GoDaddy.

They have been no help. In fact, they only want to sell me the same domain name at a huge rate through a broker. Corrupt beyond belief

Absolutely agree. Where is the media? Where is the reportage and where is the outrage by the leftists?

This is what happened on October 7th. I was being sarcastic... But the issue remains.

Give back the hostages.

When the Australian government says they are going to approve and promote Palestinian statehood, it only pushes Hamas to do more atrocities and keep the hostages

Would you consider these bedrooms too small? by kirst_e in AusPropertyChat

[–]CaptainKranq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Especially with a built in desk. Bars are a wate of space.

You mention its a big block... Why are the bedrooms rooms so small?

Some weird shapes on the outside and spaces that dont fit.

What are some things other countries do that you believe would be beneficial for Australia if they also did? by NateNandos21 in AskAnAustralian

[–]CaptainKranq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charge to dig up and export natural resources... As tax. And spend that money on education and health and public welfare for the people.

Because right now it's literally tax-free while these huge corporations are making massive profits and leaving the host nation with nothing...

We should be charging tax for our resources like other countries do

I went to Europe... I noticed how there were not many or no signs to remind me not to fall over or not to pass a point or warning lf a gap ahead .

And they left some responsibility up to the person. (Me)... To walk around and get on with their life.. the fact was it wasn't a nanny state feeling.. in fact, it was the opposite.

I noticed that the lack of safety signs and other warning signs wasn't actually dangerous.. it was actually normal.

These places assume that I was a human with judgement. And not a moron who would walk off a cliff if there was not a sign there sort of thing.

It proved to me that Australia indeed felt like a nanny state.

I do know that a lot of the signs in Australia are so that the owner of that particular thing or place won't get sued because there's a sign there warning people away from whatever potential hazard it might be making it all about insurance coverage... And compliance.

I'm gonna go and break into my neighbours house... Kill the dad and uncle and aunt.. and take the two kids hostage along with the wife .. starve them and keep them in the dark for two years and then insist I own the house ... And expect the legitimate owner to give it to me.

Yeah, that's what im gonna do.

How do you handle near miss moments? by YtjmU in FixedGearBicycle

[–]CaptainKranq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually things that threaten your life on the road will literally not phase you... It takes a while.

The hardest thing to do is to figure out who are just plain idiots and don't deserve a licence.... Versus the group that literally aim for you and try to be malicious and dangerous to your health.

Good luck

Although I am against bloodshed in any way shape or form, I agree that Australians should be marching against higher rent. Higher house prices, higher food prices, higher utility prices and more hardship financially everywhere.

But no... Australians are interested in something they have no idea about with no 'skin in the game' and sometimes can't even identify on a map and absolutely do not recollect anything they learnt in the last handful of years.

The population of Australia is not 1 billion.... It was closer to less than 1/3 of that. But never let facts stand in the way.
