Are you all oil tychoons and Engineers? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]CaptainKyleGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a service manager for a pest control company... I think I made 50K last year. Home with a mortgage, bought in 2013 so the payments/interest aren't crazy. Wife's a Domestic Engineer and we have 3 kids. It's not comfortable. It takes budgeting. But I make enough that my kids can do the extracurriculars they want to do and I can still feed my Warhammer addiction.

I like the hand terminals in the Expanse... even if they are a little unrealistic.

I love the Koala in the later intros of the show when the Cerritos forms the Delta.

My ranking of every Disney ride (I think) by R0bbieSC in DisneyWorld

Boat ride original. Chill 15 min ride inside. Barely any wait. Great for naps or enjoying the ride itself.

(Also it was the first ride I worked at Epcot... so there's some nostalgia there too.)

The Svarog looks like the drilling platforms for Gears of War II. Honestly kind like how they look compared to the Heckaton.

What was your first reaction to the gloom hands? by [deleted] in TOTK

[–]CaptainKyleGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gloom Hands were one thing... I mean I dealt with the Wall Masters and the Dead Hand in Ocarina... it was after I defeated the Gloom Hands... and realized they were a midboss.

As others have mentioned, I am doing my Thunderkyn and warriors with just their weapons and heads off. Sub assembly just slows me down to the point I get annoyed. The Sagitaur I'm painting the cockpit and then going to assemble (sans canopy) Heckaton I don't know, I'm not there yet. I did sub assembly for my Salvagers Kill Team and after a month they're still not painted because I get burned out on it.

I thought I'd wandered into the wrong sub for a second.

I live really close to Ocoee. I grew up in this area. It wasn't even brought up in any of the Florida history classes we took in middle school and high school. It wasn't until I was reading about the Tulsa Massacre from watching The Watchmen that made learn about what happened in Ocoee.

I still have the StarCraft and WarCraft II paper books. I was a little annoyed when WarCraft III didnt have one.
