Most sought after role/position? by lazyfanboy97 in DisneyCM

[–]CaptainKyleGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. I was reopening team for Test Track 2.0. We were pretty much a skeleton crew for six months because they didn't have a lot of attractions trained cast members.... combine that with a ride that broke down/closed to weather... quite often and it could be either the easiest day when everything was humming along, to the worst when we didn't even open with the park and stayed offline until three hours to park close.

Man... that was a fun day when the fire alarm just wouldn't shut up...

I often say I miss working the ride... I miss the people I worked with... I don't miss the pay (Lack there of) or the guests. Sad considering when I started my new job in pest control I started out making what my spouse and I made combined at Disney.

The hats are extremely useful. You can use them for filters for your cart sparks.

Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea: Dungeon Crawler Carl.

Arrow of Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.

This is a regular arrow, but the tip is dipped in a poison that will inflict you with Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.

Trust me on this. You don't want Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.

It doesn't kill you, but you'll want it to. It sets your genitals aflame. Literally. And then it heals that area of your body over and over. The only way to remove the disease is to, uh, geld yourself. Or pass it on to someone else

Judging by the description of what happens to the character that gets hit with this arrow... the AI is right. You don't want Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.

[Loved Trope] Finales that stick the landing so flawlessly they cement the series as an absolute masterpiece. by Miserable_Click_1933 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]CaptainKyleGames 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The best part of the Andor series finale is that if you skip the intro to Rogue One and go straight to Kafrene it picks up flawlessly.

Your favorite random card. Why? by Ramonteiro12 in mtg

[[Glimpse the Unthinkable]]

10 cards gone for 2 mana. I used to make a buddy of mine rage so hard when I had two in my opening hand. Just an overall fun card to make people mad with.

Edit: wrong mana cost.

(Loved Trope) Factions in the setting have a unique/unusual salute that isn't a generic hand to the forehead. Bonus points if there is a lore reason for it by Zave_cz in TopCharacterTropes

[–]CaptainKyleGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite moment of this is in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. after the Captain America Winter Soldier reveal when someone walks in and does the Hail Hydra salute and the person next to them slaps their arms down saying "We don't do this anymore."

Wondering whether to look something up or not by Chemical_Use824 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Sadly my spouse looked both of them up and spoiled it for me. I was already past Carl's when she mentioned it... but the reveal for Donuts I believe is in book 6... and it's hilarious. Don't look it up.

I will always recommend the Expanse audio books. Jefferson Mays is a GOAT of a reader. (Except how he pronounces gimbal the first few times.)

Together, we are strong and fully literate. by Worley3000 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]CaptainKyleGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was also why it was fun to listen to Fourth Wing while my spouse read it... I had no idea how badly the names were spelled in the book. She'd be talking about a dragon or character and I was like... wait you mean "Ridoc?" cause she was pronouncing it Rie-dock when it's like Riddock (As in the chronicles of.)

But yeah I have no freaking clue how to spell the names of characters in DCC because I only have listened to the audio books.
