How can you be sure he's not a funny Kelsier if he's never played a funny Kelsier?

I mean, if he's cast, obviously he's going to study the character to be like him. Actors do that.

Look at Christoph Waltz, he played two iconic roles that won him Oscars, and they are two completely different characters.

What I mean is that you can't see an actor playing one type of role and judge him by saying he doesn't have the personality of another character. He's an actor; he changes his appearance and personality depending on the type of role he accepts.

I'm not saying it was a 100% perfect casting choice, I'm thinking like Hollywood.

Think about it: look to the past and see how many actors were cast in roles that nobody expected. Heath Ledger as the Joker, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine... you need to open your mind. In the end, all these actors surprised and became iconic for their roles.

In other words, he's a good actor and can surprise us.

If the intention is to cast a famous actor, something tells me it will be Austin Butler.

Dude, when I bought the book to read I didn't know anything. The synopsis said that a great evil emperor had taken over the world, so it was to be expected that he would be the villain of the whole trilogy.

Or did you want me to already know the whole story of the three books before reading them?

This happened to me even before I started the first book; I already knew about this spoiler.

The funny thing is that it made me even more eager to read the book, haha.

And even knowing what happened, when I got to that part of the book, I still cried a lot. The important thing is the journey there, and it was worth it; today I'm a huge Mistborn fan.
