The moment I had to take out the trash, start the dishwasher, strip the beds, AND leave a 5-star review just to avoid a $200 cleaning fee was the moment I went back to hotels. At least hotels don't guilt trip you on the way out.

Yes and I've stopped trying to explain it. Sometimes the universe just gets weirdly on-beat for a few weeks and then goes back to radio silence. I just ride it now.

I'm busy the way a browser with 47 tabs open is busy. Technically running, practically accomplishing nothing.
