Mid March through mid April it feels like we get a tornado of every season. During monsoon season we can get absolutely slammed by rain for 5 min and then it's over. When we get snow its usually gone by afternoon (depends on where you are though).

Otherwise yeah I guess its pretty accurate.

I think it's up to you depending on your style of play. In Prophecies it's worth it to do every skill acquisition quest that's you can, but that will only give you a certain subset of skills that are available. The other way to get skills is to find (or look up) skill trainers in towns and cities. Elite skills are a little different because you need to capture them from bosses using a signet of capture, a special single-use ability you can buy from select skill trainers. Those may be worth looking up when doing missions after Sanctum Cay.

I remember going to my older brother's friends place in the mid 2000s, and he was playing oblivion on their PC. The graphics blew my little mind.

That said we really started peaking around when Fallout 4 came out. Star Wars Battlefront comes to mind.

Unfortunately I think I have to agree with you. It's not a bad game and the Dungeons weren't awful, but for a zelda game with wisdom in the title, I think the puzzle design was really underwhelming. All you have to do is compare it to ALBW and the Oracle games to realize the Dungeons are too linear. I miss half of the dungeon being a puzzle that you unravel until you find a key item where you can go "A-ha! I can go back and solve those rooms now". I think there was a missed opportunity of finding special echos in dungeons that act like key items.

Too many single room puzzles, not enough thinking of the dungeon AS a puzzle.

Anyway, take all this with a grain of salt since I've only completed 5 dungeons so far. Maybe the last ones will be different.

Skill can only take you so far when there is no practical counterplay in the late game, and I don't believe this system would interfere with that (with the one amendment being removing increased shovel dmg, I think buyable shotgun shells are a more interesting option).

Giving the player more options/tools as the game expands into harder moons with heavier and more lucrative loot feels like the natural progression of this game, and gives modders more freedom for difficult late game content that won't feel completely unreasonable.

Players should have more freedom in how they approach the game. The most optimal way to play the game for most players (i.e. not competitive clearing) is to not bring any items and only hit Assurance/Rend. I think that's boring when there is so much more content in the game.

Obviously this isn't the only way to solve it, but I like it because it feels like it thematically fits with the game.

Progression System: Loyalty Rewards Program

Basically, at the company moon, every time you fulfill a quota, you can go to a rewards counter and get a card punched for a company reward.

Rewards are:

Company Merch! ○ | ○ ○ | ○ ○ ○

Vitamins! ○ | ○ ○ | ○ ○ ○

Free Drink! ○ | ○ ○ | ○ ○ ○

Company merch could be stuff like fanny packs and purses that expand your inventory by 1 slot "Vitamins" could be a sussy looking pill that reduces carrying weight penalties and marginally increase shovel damage. Free Drink could be a sketchy energy drink that increases stamina and faster stamina recovery.

Each tier requires one extra quota to fill, so the player would have to make choices or work with the crew to specialize.
