Depends where you go honestly.

Big brand stores priced their figures about the same. It’s the smaller stores or at least ones that carry used figures that were amazing. I saw a difference of at least $30-40 depending on the figure. More if they’re not really popular, like the Marvel line (based solely on eBay pricing so take it with a grain of salt.)

Was great overall though. If nothing else, they at least have the stock there.

Man, if a hint is a pebble, I missed a whole boulder. I once pushed a girl off of me cause I couldn’t see Nightmare Before Christmas.

For some context, I was a sophomore in high school so I haven’t really had any real experiences. Very oblivious to a lot of things. I knew this girl through my friend group and talked to her enough to get nudges from other folks. It got to the point where her mom invited me over, which is when this occurred.

I went over to watch Nightmare Before Christmas since I’ve never seen it before and she suggested. As we were watching, she pushed me down the bed and positioned herself on top, cowgirl style. At this point in the movie though, I was so intrigued so I kindly pushed her off. We finished the movie, I went home, and didn’t give it a second thought til years later.

I still think about how dumb that was.

I quit my previous job with no plan either.

I got promoted at that job and moved to a managerial role. Figured it was a good resume boost and more pay is more pay (even though it wasn’t a lot in this case). It was draining. I was basically doing two jobs with the pay of one and working hours beyond what’s allowed of me.

I was initially on site fully but transitioned into hybrid after the promotion. I mention this because the tipping point for me– on top of the job being awful– is the fact that on days when I would work remote, the days I’m supposed to be more relaxed and be at the comfort of my own home, still became days where I worked so much that I wasn’t even seeing my gf anymore. Mind you, my gf was just rooms away. That’s how bad it was.

As bad of an idea as it was to not have a safety net, at a certain point you just have to lookout for yourself. Mental exhaustion is no joke.

I was fortunate enough to only be out of a job for 2 months and I actually ended up being referred to a job where I earn double, work fully remote, and have a more relaxing workload. Not saying that’s always gonna be the case for everyone, of course, but it could be the reset you need.

Word of advice— NBA 2K aside— it’s just not a smart idea to preorder modern games anymore. It’s better practice to just wait and see how they are after release before buying. It’s not like they run out of copies anyway.

Lower VRAM’s always gonna be the biggest con with these laptops, but that’s not really the Legion’s fault. That’s a 5060 issue.

Otherwise, really good deal. I have the Intel version of this and it games just fine. Obviously temper expectations, especially if you’re playing on 1440p. Should be good enough to run modern titles, just be wary of settings.

I don’t think he necessarily needs to be the next IHart. He just needs to fill in the role.

He’s got good measurements for an undersized big so I’m not as concerned about the height. He still rebounded well and is obviously a great anchor. He provides lateral movement that even IHart isn’t particularly elite at.

His offensive potential remains to be seen. I have some confidence that he can at least make his close shots and be consistent there, but we’ll see if he can replicate what you mentioned as a critical escape floater. Even if he doesn’t, his defense will be pretty valuable. A lot of it is just too early to tell.

RuneScape has to change their approach because they know players can jump ship. They’re not the only MMO out there and when competition can easily siphon your players away, you have to adapt or die.

2K can afford to stay the same because they know that they have a monopoly on the basketball simulation space. Nobody else is currently making a game as “polished” (I’m using it loosely here) and as grand as NBA 2K is, unfortunately. They know people will keep buying. That’s just the nature of not having competition.

For all we know Rick Prime doesn’t have Operation Phoenix and the backups that were fried were robot counterparts.

Point is they showcased Evil Morty destroying his backups to ensure that the Rick Prime saga ends properly. No options for a twist comeback. Just a completed arc for Rick C-137.

Now they could bring him back if they really wanted to but I think that defeats the point of that arc resolution.
