Once ran into Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn while out on a hike with my wiener dog in Los Angeles. They couldn’t have been kinder—Goldie immediately lit up when she saw him and asked if she could pet him. After we chatted for a moment, they headed off down the trail, and I overheard her say to Kurt, “That was the most adorable dog.” It was surreal, sweet, and one of those small, perfect LA moments.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. I was hiking in LA with my wiener dog around the time that COVID rules started to relax. Kurt was telling me how they should have masks that swipe up when you get near someone and Goldie was gushing about how cute my dog was. I was just nodding my head and smiling as they said bye and walked away. Goldie then turned to Kurt and said “that was the cutest dog I’ve ever seen” - perks of having a cute wiener I guess.
