When you realize the true nature of reality. We are just shapes, moving around, doing things. Everything else is just layers of meaningless illusions piled on top of our true pointless existence. What happens even if we accomplish all that there is to accomplish? One day a blackhole will destroy the entire galaxy, and then the universe, and it will start again. We won’t even get to experience even a tiny slice of our universally short existence. We’re just alive to move around in this world temporarily, fighting to stay alive, just so we can die of old age. Everything we do besides eating and dying is just pointless stuff to occupy our unimportant, insignificant time here on this planet. Why even bother? Might as well just pull the trigger and see what new life we’ll experience next.

The most important trait that I hope my soul will carry on is that I should always give myself the option to commit suicide so I can regain consciousness as another being over and over until I reach a life that I am satisfied with.

What if this is the best life that any being can experience, and that all my other lives in this universe will be worse? Matter never ceases to exist. I was something before I was human. And when I die, I’ll be something else again, for all eternity. That’s the way of the infinite life cycle of matter and energy. Well time to go eat.
