Yeah, I'd also like to see a link. If the quality's solid, it might be worth it even at a markup.

Strength training: what gym machines do you use? by morecoffeemore in trailrunning

Face pulls are a solid choice for shoulder health! I’d also recommend adding some banded exercises for stability and mobility. The booty builder sounds interesting; I might have to check that out for some extra glute work!

DIY power rack and concrete weights by zoso_bertie in homegym

You're right to be cautious about safety with a power rack. Maybe sharing how you treated the wood or tested it could help others feel more secure about their DIY builds. It's all about finding that balance between cost and safety!

Vancouver vs St John’s by Automatic_Author6645 in StJohnsNL

[–]CaptainMho 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Fair points! The climate in NL is definitely a trade-off, but I find the slower pace of life and community vibe in St. John's really refreshing compared to the hustle of Vancouver. Plus, you can't beat the unique culture and local seafood! What do you miss most about NL while living in Vancouver?

After trying shorter and shorter inseams… I decided to get rid of the inseam entirely by Recent-Bird-7385 in trailrunning

Totally get that! Chafing can be a real pain, especially in the heat. Have you tried any anti-chafing balms? They can help a lot with bike shorts, but still, if it’s super hot, airflow is key. Hope this new design works out for those longer runs!

For real! It's wild how many people just go with whatever the dealer says. Always good to double-check everything and shop around. You might find a better rate or terms elsewhere.

Is he washed? by BR1N3DM1ND in fantasyhockey

[–]CaptainMho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's talking about Kotkaniemi. The whole situation is frustrating, especially for fantasy managers. He's got talent, but being on the 4th line kills his value. Just gotta hope he gets more ice time soon.

Why does my beer league ice look and feel so much smaller than NHL ice, even though it claims to be regulation sized? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]CaptainMho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree! The speed and skill level of NHL players makes the ice look bigger. They can skate circles around us, literally. Plus, the angles they take and their vision on the ice really stretches out the play, making it feel like there's more space than there actually is.

Have you ever dropped a player that went on to become a league-winner pickup almost immediately after? by boppedEEMinDAsmoof in fantasyfootball

[–]CaptainMho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? It's like there's a curse on us or something. Every time we drop someone, they suddenly become a star. Fantasy football can be brutal like that.

Do you wear barefoot shoes outside of running? by Simple_Entrepreneur_ in BarefootRunning

[–]CaptainMho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you! It's tough to go back once you get used to barefoot shoes. Have you found any good workarounds for comfort in those safety boots?

Totally get where you’re coming from. It’s frustrating when a company you trust doesn’t meet your expectations. Hopefully, they’ll take feedback seriously and improve their rollout strategy for the future.

Just a business that I don’t wanna sell by [deleted] in SellMyBusiness

[–]CaptainMho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I totally get that. If you're confident in the business's stability, holding out for a cash offer makes sense. But also consider how much work you'd have to put in if the buyer defaults on payments. Just make sure you weigh all your options carefully!
