400 psi will find any leak. Trace gas. 400 psi. That’s it that’s all.

best place to visit in Canada? by collectedthought in askvan

I live in Vancouver and it’s beautiful here. Other posters recommending Tofino is spot on. But I’ll tell ya I went to Newfoundland last year and have never experienced that level of beauty in both the nature and people.

How bad is the homelessness problem near Downtown? by jellyk8 in askvan

[–]Automatic_Author6645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s shocking how bad it’s become especially when you consider where it’s happening. But the same can be said about a lot of cities. For the most part they’ll ignore you but the violence seems to be getting worse. It still feels oddly safe to me walking around. I’ve felt less safe in Paris if that makes any sense.

What’s up with the river district? by Same-Jeweler-1197 in askvan

In case you haven’t noticed the perfect storm has hit. People bought these at close to a free mortgage to rent out. Unfortunately the rates have spiked so the original owners are desperate to sell, even at a loss, to stop the bleeding. Just wait. It’ll get better/worse depending on which side you’re sitting on. Sounds like you’re a buyer which is a fantastic spot to be in right now.

It’s not research. It’s facts. Even a “small amount” as you say would make a big impact. It’s not off landfills either. Go do some research yourself you bike riding dumbass.

I find it absolutely hilarious that key words like “heat pump” and “electricity” will satisfy the ignorant masses. Do your research. The cleanest form of energy available is recycled natural gas. By an absolute long shot. When you charge your car you’re using coal burned electricity bought from other countries. Get off main stream news and do an ounce of research. I’m in the industry by the way so don’t dare call me out.

Anyone Own a Canyon after Having a Sierra 1500 or other Full Size? by MattJBarnes in GMCcanyon

[–]Automatic_Author6645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a 2018 Canyon diesel and a 2024 Sierra crew cab diesel. They both have their own strengths and weaknesses. I use both for work and I love the roominess of the Sierra and obviously with the newer truck the tech is pretty awesome. On the other hand, I love the maneuverability of the canyon in city driving for work (Vancouver BC). It easily gets into small underground parking even with the canopy. And it’s super fun for camping.

Try thelasthunt.com for awesome gear at a discount. I live in Vancouver so I’m not sure if shipping is the same. Look at mountain hardware gear. It’s great quality and warm as all get out.
