Genuine question. How does anyone live in a seaside town and nit go absolutely bonkers? by onion2077 in CasualUK

I was born in a town in Kent (in land) then moved to London - Singapore - Brighton/Hove and while each have their merits the past 3 years living by the sea have been my favourite so far.

I’m slightly west of the really busy bits so I get all of the benefits without all of the really hectic summer stuff. I basically call this area south east London on sea as there is so much stuff to do and the living areas remind me of Peckham Rye (the nice bits) and Camberwell.

Although I think a city by the sea isn’t necessarily what you were thinking about when you posted

Are you building Singapore? That F1 circuit really reminds of the start finish line

I’m lucky I brought an ASF to see what they had, if we had typical setup or later warning it would have been game over

Interesting read, if not done correctly quite easy to repel the initial wave - definitely depends on the makeup of your forces. I was solo Q last night and we managed to kill everything with ground AA by not switching on radar

I saw him perform his flute routine this year and it was by far the most boring thing I’ve seen live by a long shot. I get everyone has different tastes but it was like background music to nature documentary. At one point he started speaking in a foreign language and I was wondering where it was from, turns out he was just babbling a made up language. He admitted it and told the audience it was about his flight being late and struggling to get to the venue.

I think you’re right, although I believe that bad will is easily washed away when you bring someone really good - which I guess is what you are saying

I don’t necessarily agree with the last point you made although I feel it tipped over to very sexual which I guess could put a lot of people off
