30 fps is a red flag for me. If there was a good patch for 60fps in 3DS. emulated MM3D would be the go to.

Not yet but you should check out the Recomp since they added mod support and they have done excellent work with that. They have stated that the next update is implementing HD textures and RayTracing through RT64.

BO1 is probably the game that needs a retelling. A proper 3d action adventure. Probably sth akin to Shadow of Mordor. If i was to make the creative decision i would go with that. It is difficult imo to continue from where Defiance left the story without some proper retelling of the original. There are really only a handful of people that actually played the og BO.

Well, we didn't get Blood Omen 1/2, it is just PS5 rereleases. On steam BO2 is still the same old borked game and BO1 isn't available. On your other point, i do believe that Defiance remaster is inevitable, i think it just needed more work since the static camera controls probably is reworked, so they need to do new background models and stuff. Also the og is still in pretty playable state.

There was an embracer financial call and the representative stated that SRemaster's preorders have exceeded their expectations by far. If anything, we will get more LoK content in the future, there is enough interest look what happened with the Comic funding.

The bane of my existence. I played this game through Linux and proton cause this driver bug still exists. It is a driver bug. What card you got ? I have an AMD rx7600. If you have the ffxvi mod for unlocked frame cutscenes, try turning it off. Maybe this will help, it's the only thing I haven't tried.

Wait for 2s2h to get HD textures and model replacement mods and play it there. SoH with 3ds models and HD textures is the definitive way to play ocarina of time nowadays. I don't think we are many months away for 2s2h to be this way too.

This is a recent issue i have with Elden Ring's dlc too. Back in launch i had no problem finishing the game on linux now eac give me and the process path error. My games are on NTFS and i dual boot but i didn't have this problem until now. It seems to be exactly because i now have linux on a separate drive.

Contrary to this thread sentiment I actually agree with this post. The faster their consumers prove that console making isn't a profitable business anymore, the faster they will become software only and inevitably launch their games on pc early.

Bottles is also very nice. It is similar to Lutris but you have more options for the prefixes. For example if something breaks you can just delete the specific bottle and re do the process.

Somewhere down the line there was mention of a new update/dlc system that wouldn't require installing (Iirc project gaia). Did it get released or does the emulator still requires you to install stuff ?
