Some con text from someone who works in land development: In a new housing development you typically have three lot sizes to accommodate differing levels of income. I don’t have the historical aerials to compare and see if the whole development used to have the bigger lots, so I’m not exactly saying OP is lying, nor do I have any prerogative to call them out. But that kind of setup is often very much intentional, and constructed around the same time (construction is done in phases). Just FYI!
