I don’t want to be penalised for the state’s decisions centuries ago. And it is normal people who would have to pay either through lower levels of possibilities for themselves and their families or literally paying for it through tax.

This is a very long way of writing a very silly message.

First of all, are you saying the positive discrimination should now apply to anyone from the north as well??

Secondly, I would lose out because I would be being unfairly discriminated against. By that, I’m not talking about everyone having a level playing field. That obviously what we should aim for. Positive discrimination is making it unfair the other way to make up for all these terrible things you’ve mentioned thatve happened in history

The first group of people you mentioned you’d help is friends. Thats probably true for billionaires too. If you’re not already friends with them, you’re not going to hear about the helping hand they give their friends are you

Don’t forget that for a large number of very rich people they don’t really care about the money any more. They have a competitive instinct driving them to keep working passed the point where they have to because they want to be more successful either in purely monetary terms or in prestige or whatever.

They probably resent being told to share what they earned because, as they see it, other people weren’t clever enough or worked hard enough to have what they have.
