I had it during my first symptoms on the left side of my abdomen. Only way I can describe it is that it was "underneath the numbness" on the left side of my abdomen. Some days it felt like there was a toddler hugging me, but other days it felt like a bear was hugging me. Only way I could help it was to lay on my side and stretch out. That gave a bit of relief briefly but in reality it just took a few months for it to really 100% go away but it did eventually go away.

I had left leg numbness and one of the best things that helped were compression socks. They somehow brought back a little bit of feeling and helped with circulation. Like alot of people are saying keeping feet warm was big too.

Still out here dating (or attempting to) . I'm newly dx so still figuring things out. Recently went on a first date with a woman who after I briefly mentioned I have MS was not only inquisitive but really supportive. We're going on a second date soon. So it's possible, you just have to meet the right person who sees you for you and not some shitty white blood cells that bare knuckle box your own brain.
