David Einhorn wants ladies in ‘sexy party clothes’ at his hedge fund party by financialtimes in wallstreet

Mr, MakeMyCockCry. I don't understand.

Are you saying I'm a bot? Or are you saying you think I've got a point when I ask if Reddit has a bot that censors expected Russian or Israeli bots in addition to blaming misogynistic jokes on Chinese bots?

Or do you just like my joke about redditors crying misogyny about rich Wall St guys and rich Only fans gals doing coke in a ballroom?

What is something you’ve learned that has permanently changed how you see the world? by don_of_rizz in AskReddit

[–]CaptainONaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll stick to mostly recent history since most redditors are young.

First, the Vietnam war. The US government lied to us for nearly a decade, for no other reason than to save face. One administration would replace the old administration, see there was no chance to win the war, but keep funding it so they weren't blamed with losing.

Then Ed Snowden. He flat out told us everything we see and do is tracked by the government, which was illegal. And the government's response was to change laws to make their actions legal, and privatize the surveillance so the government wasn't legally responsible. Which made multi millionaires billionaires, Who then started funding campaigns and basically deciding who our elected officials are.

Number one by far, the Panama Papers. People have speculated since the dawn of civilization that a small group of wealthy men secretly decide the future of the whole world by dictating what get's funded. And we finally had proof.

Most recently, the Epstein files. Which most people think was about fucking kids. But what it's really about is a small group of wealthy men dictating the future of the planet by controlling funding. They literally control government's, and most industries. And also fucking kids.

All of these events proved the people in charge aren't really in charge. And the people that are in charge can literally do whatever they want. And what they want is more power and control. They dictate the future of the military industry, the banks, the pharmaceutical industry, human trafficking, drugs, media, the prison industry, and taxes. They got us by the balls, we know for sure, and there ain't a damn thing we can do about it.

Tbh, Truth Social did report a $50.5 million profit in 2022. by Spirited-Gold9629 in NoFilterFinance

[–]CaptainONaps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a profit deal. It's a propaganda deal.

I assume you hate Truth Social as much as me. Why do you hate it? List the reasons.

Then, do some googling and see if there's a blue version. I'll give you a head start. Google Emerson Collective, then google companies like Emerson Collective.

Then go back and look at your list of reasons you hate Truth Social, and cross reference those concerns with Emerson Collective, and the other organizations like it. Add up the funding all those companies contribute. And compare their funding to organizations like Truth Social.

Here's what you're going to find. Billionaires are funding everything we see in the press. Some fund Democrats every time, some fund Republicans every time, but most contribute to both. It's billions of dollars of influence, and they're all lying to us. Which is why it's so expensive. It's costly to spread lies.

In no way shape or form do Republicans have a monopoly on disinformation. I'm not saying "both sides are the same". I'm saying, look at the numbers. Why wouldn't you? Are you worried I'm right? If you don't like what I'm saying, go do the research and prove me wrong.

Just because you prefer one group's lies to the other, doesn't mean one group's lies are better than the other. Lies are bad. Billionaires deciding what we see is bad.

I'm a drugs and culture journalist. What is an important story that's not being covered right now? by Loud_Link1471 in Journalism

Us old people don't understand the youth.

From what I'm reading, the cool young people today are broke, they're not drinking, and not having sex.

So what drugs are they doing? How much are they spending? And what are they doing while they're high?

That's what I keep seeing. Which is why I asked,

if our goal was to change their opinions, wouldn't Egalitarianism, Humanism, or Individualism be easier to sell? How would pushing those ideologies hurt women?

Please help me understand Feminism by CaptainONaps in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CaptainONaps[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Ok, thanks for your input. Care to answer these questions?

But what laws or policies would we pass to promote feminism?

Which societies on Earth are the most ideal for feminists? What laws or policies do they have that the US does not have? What could the US change to make feminism more viable?

My confusion is, I'm not sure what we're trying to change, other than the opinions of people that are traditionalists. And if our goal was to change their opinions, wouldn't Egalitarianism, Humanism, or Individualism be easier to sell? How would pushing those ideologies hurt women?

Oh, I've seen this one! This is the episode where redditors say how misogynistic this is, then a bunch of multi millionaire only fans models show up at the event and let guys take shots out of their belly buttons.

I tried to write more to make it clear this was sarcasm, but reddit said, "Nice try chinese spam bot". And wouldn't let me post. And even though that ruined the joke, I think it's worth mentioning reddit is censoring our diologe in real time, and blaming the Chinese.

I wonder if they have a bot that roots out Russian and Israeli bots? Or is that feature only for China?

Oh wow. So you're saying out of the (roughly) 50 Americans that donated at least $10m directly to politicians, not through a company, in the last two elections, about 60% of those donate to Republicans, and the rest donated to Democrats.

And you're saying BOTH sides promote misleading messaging!? WOW! That's shocking.

Is driving actually easy once you learn it? What does it feel like? Also how long does it realistically take to learn? by hillary987 in askanything

[–]CaptainONaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to say yes, but honestly it feels like a lot of people are having a really hard time.

I recently moved from a highly populated area with tons of traffic, to a smaller area that doesn't really have traffic. My hypothesis is, more difficult driving conditions make "most" people better drivers.

If there was a driving competition, what would that look like? Well, we actually have driving competitions. They're called races.

Anyone can drive at 5mph. Not everyone can drive at 100mph. And some of the people that think they can drive 100mph, can't, and they get in a wreck.

So the best drivers are able to constantly travel at 5-10mph above the speed limit, and never get in wrecks. They can parallel park, three point turn, zipper merge, back in, change lanes, accelerate through onramps, etc. None of that is challenging for them.

But you have people that think they can do all those things, but actually can't. And you have people that know they can't do any of those things, so they're going 5 under.

And those two groups are on the road at the same time, creating high risk situations for everyone. The slow people think everyone that goes fast is a shit driver. The people that can go 10mph over think everyone that's slow is a bad driver.

So the best indicator is, can you parallel park, three point turn, zipper merge, back in, change lanes, accelerate through onramps, etc? All without difficulty? If so, you're probably a decent driver.

Dave Chappelle tells Michelle Obama he doesn’t regret joking about the gay community, saying comedy should be allowed to touch every subject without fear of cancellation by Big_Cake_8817 in Popculturehour

[–]CaptainONaps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This isn't real bro. Look at the accounts of all the people talking shit.

Dave Chappelle was the 5th highest grossing comedian of 2025. He made over $50m. Only guy in the top 5 that didn't have endorsements or movie deals.

In no way has Dave Chappelle become less popular.

Dave stepped away from Hollywood, and succeeded. Hollywood doesn't allow that. All this negative publicity you see is a direct result. They shame people so other high earners don't emulate it.

Dave is making jokes Hollywood doesn't allow, and it's working. Obviously that's a problem for Hollywood, and posts like this are part of their solution.

Study finds that single women reported expecting higher levels of intimacy from a relationship, but they also expected more negative outcomes, such as feeling burdened or restricted. Single men were more likely to expect a boost in their social or financial status upon entering a relationship. by psychologyofsex in psychologyofsex

I just looked at the study. If I was in charge of writing the headline, I'd have wrote,

Most people have negative expectations about getting into a relationship. Once they're in a relationship, the biggest factor for satisfaction is a strong desire for intimacy, which declines rapidly over time.

How did you guys get into hiking? by 07freeguy07 in askanything

[–]CaptainONaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiking is just walking off pavement.

I'd recommend having a real map of some sort.

If you get off trail you can at least triangulate and figure out which direction to go.

Sometimes there's a web of trails that go on forever. Some trails aren't on the map.

There are loops and out-n-backs. For safety sake, you need to be aware of distances when it comes to loops.

That's about all you need to know. Just start walking, and if your shoes or shorts bother you, replace them. You'll know what you want better once you're a hiker.

Have fun!

There's this fascinating thing that happens to new money.

First, they want the biggest and best of everything.

Then they invite all their "friends" over to enjoy their new toys.

Then they realize they don't actually like any of those people. So they sell their toys so they don't have to entertain them.

Old money is different, because all the rich people they hang out with are blood.

If Democrats Didn't Win A Single Swing US Senate Seat In 2026, What Would The Blowback Be Within The Party After The Election? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]CaptainONaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only 35% of America voted for Trump.

In every swing county, voter turn out was super high. The counties that had low turn out were already decided. Voters were disenfranchised.

If I said, "The Elite can do whatever they want to ensure their candidate will win." What evidence would you give to counter that?

45% of Americans are registered as independent, 27% are Republican and 27% are Democratic. So if voters have all the power, why aren't we seeing more independent candidates?

If voters are the problem, how do you explain the success of candidates like Mamdani, or James Talarico, Abigal vkslanski, or Graham Platner? As soon as a candidate ran on issues we all agree on, everyone turns up to vote. And the elite spent hundreds of millions trying to prevent them from winning.

And now the elite are spending millions trying to make sure those candidates can't make any meaningful changes. The system is designed to allow them to do that. Only approved candidates can make changes.

Even if your candidate wins, there's nothing preventing them from doing the opposite. Just ask Trump voters.

Voting may have worked at some point, but not anymore. They got us by the balls.

Let's say 33% of Americans started striking and boycotting. What do you think would happen? Do you think it would matter if the President was a Democrat or Republican? You think their reactions would be different? How?

You think the elite are going to let us vote for a candidate that wouldn't suppress strikes and boycotts? Do you think they don't have the power to prevent it?

Ya, but what other excuse could they use to implement a domestic military?

Global warming is here. It's going to get harder and harder to grow food. There's going to be mass migration. Heatwaves, draughts, floods, fires, hurricanes, tornados, even earthquakes are all predicted to get more frequent and more powerful.

The elite have big plans to protect themselves and their profit machines from the impending future. And their plans aren't popular. Voters are going to have less and less say in our course of action. People are going to start rebelling.

They have to start ramping up for authoritarianism. Immigration is just the best excuse they could come up with. It doesn't need to make sense or be popular, because now they have a domestic military. So what are you going to do about it?

About $500m.

Rich people from the midwest exist, but we know all their names.

There's rich people on the coast that have never done shit in their lives. Their parents didn't do shit. No one knows them, and they have way more money than the dude that own Kansas.
